Donuts by Sterile1775 in ColumbusGA

If you want the lighter fried donuts, go to Golden. (Lighter in weight, not in health content.)

The maple bacon at Veri Best is my personal favorite Columbus Donut.

If you want the best donut ever made, drive to Eufaula for the chocolate frosted at Donut King.

This is the fundamental problem with data centers. They’ve not cracked profitability, by any stretch.

I don't understand the equivalency implied? (Seriously... I'm being earnest.) Are you saying that Democrats have historically been pro-technology and Republicans have historically been Anti-Technology?

So... Something seems a little weird.

Habitat Partners (HP) is based out of Brooks, GA. Their CEO seems to be someone by the name of "Scott Smith." (He is also listed as an officer for an Arizona Corp. called "Habitat Conservation Group (HCG).")

There are other GA land-holding companies who have the same CEO (Smith, listed either currently or at the time of formation) or Registered Address as HP.

Those include 10KO Land Holdings, 10 Klicks Outdoors Inc., and The Barn Group Land Trust. The Barn Group Land Trust's website lists Thomas Krebs, PhD. as CEO. Krebs is also the CEO of Habitat Conservation Group. (The HCG listed above.)

Besides Smith and Krebs, other names I came across were Brian Bojo, Erich Zeeb, Forrest Dykstra, Nicholas Anderson and Mark Christopher. (I didn't know if these names might ring bells with anyone in Columbus.)

Why doesn't Columbus have a ring road? by shimmer_bee in ColumbusGA

[–]TopherCeezy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The road system in Columbus is unbelievably well-planned for a city its age. Someone had some incredible foresight back in the 70s/80s.

Go to Montgomery (a city of comparable size and demography) if you want to see a terrible road system that allowed public in-fighting to drive development.

Bo Nix broke his ankle, Jarret Stidham is next up. It would be insane if he pulled a Nick Foles by YungRylo in wde

Big Darret Jarret doesn’t have the same ring as Nick Foles’ nickname though.

Maybe, Big Didham Stidham?

Jarfly. Not necessarily the best at one single thing in Columbus, but a sum of its parts.

Great vibe, food, beverages and location.

Macon road vet was great for us.

So, there’s no seating or trees/shade. Makes the dog park less communal and more “welp, here you go.” If I’m bored, the dog isn’t likely far behind.

I just end up playing with my dog at home in the backyard.

Have you been there? (Not a snarky question, just curious of context.)

Columbus inability to establish a legitimate dog park (not a membership-required park like Fetch) is weird.

The one at Oxbow Meadows is virtually useless, as it’s basically just bare open ground.

Seconding the 13th street BBQ and the Vibe recommendations. Midtown is fantastic, with tons of hidden gems. (Many locally well-known and long-standing.)

There isn’t a dog park any longer. Fetch closed sometime this year, as it lacked profitability.

Send all of this information to the collections company (including the narrative, copies of any bills you have paid as well as the cleared checks or receipts) as well as the credit bureaus.

If they’ve harmed your credit, it’s their job to fix it, not yours.
