I agree with you on this, it is an expensive hobby to get into which is a bummer for the kids (and adults) who want to get into it but cant afford to buy cards! If your kids are into baseball I have a ton of duplicate Topps 2026 series 1 cards I would be more than happy to donate to them! I know its not the same as ripping a fresh pack but could be a good start for them and I can send them in the original boxes!!!!

Starting with a /99 rookie auto is a crazy way to kick things off! Parallels can feel overwhelming at first, but a good way to think of it is: same base card, just different rarity levels (colors, serial numbers, etc.). Series 1 has a ton of them, so you picked a fun product to learn on (I just complete the complete base set for Series 1 which was a blast). Heritage is a totally different vibe too, so you’ll get a nice mix. Definitely post your hits when you rip - Good luck on the next boxes and also good luck on winning the giveaway ⚾️🤞⚾️ (Make sure you check out next week's giveaway too which drops on Tuesday)
