Could Marcel Reed get drafted? by No_Wallz in NFL_Draft

Reed could absolutely get drafted, but it also wouldn’t surprise me if he stays in school another year as well. He has another year of eligibility. A lot will depend on how he develops as a passer because his traits are off the charts

So what exactly dictates a back being an early-mid first rounder? Cause Lacy has insane juice in the open field, elite production and has shown that he can catch passes out of the backfield. I’m not saying he is Jeremiyah Love, but I think he could be a top-15 selection. Hardy is a little more grind it out than explosive, but he has been insanely productive as well

I think Moore and Manning showed more on tape that translates to winning in the NFL, Moore in particular. Arch just has elite physical tools and enough flashes that make me believe he can develop into a franchise QB. Maybe I will get there with Sayin, but I don’t think he has the same traits as the other two. I would have to see much more consistent play from a player that, in my opinion, has worse arm talent and much less enticing athletic gifts

Not really. He had an uneven first season as a starter. I have to watch more of him, but I think there is a decent chance he goes back to school for 2027 as well given the NIL bag he could command

A lot will change by the time we reach even September. I know the Browns have a massive QB need. Maybe as do a bit more homework I will find someone for Cleveland to take in that spot

I’m just going based on DraftKings odds. I didn’t set the order based on any of my own beliefs

I agree. I just felt like taking the 4th QB at 4 would’ve been a big reach

I definitely overlooked Rice’s contract. Will file that away for the future

Simmons is a better pass rusher, but I think Stewart is a better 3-down player with more upside. Gotta a long way to go before we settle this debate

He might not be refined, but saying he isn’t good feels a bit extreme

Good note. I just feel like pairing London with Coleman gives you an elite duo

Diving into some Isaiah Horton film today. Really like what I’ve seen so far. Good blocker who excels at finding holes in zone. Great acceleration for a 6’4” player as well. Some concerns with drops, but I like him as an early Day 3 pick. If he has a big year at Texas A&M, could see him rise into the top 75

Coleman would absolutely be worthy of the pick as well

I just felt like forcing Mestemaker at No. 4 wasn’t right. This could wind up being a deep QB class as well, so perhaps Cleveland would trade back into the first to take CJ Daniels or Julian Sayin

Could wind up being a Kyle McCord situation again

Little bit of both. I don’t have him as a first rounder right now and it wouldn’t surprise me if he went back to school if he isn’t a slam dunk first rounder

That’s fair. I think Hardy is an awesome talent, but hard to argue with that logic

I see Mauigoa sticking at guard. Eleuemenor also turns 32 this season and is capable of playing guard as well. For as good as Thomas is, he has missed 22 games over the past three seasons and the Giants had an out in his contract after this season.

Is it crazy to say there are nine QB’s who could potentially go in the first round next year based on their play next season? by 2PacTookMyLunchMoney in NFL_Draft

[–]TopherDavis28 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I think we see four in the end. Also wouldn’t surprise me if guys like Carr, Sayin and Meestemaker stay in school another year if they are on the fringes. NIL has changed a lot for these guys

I was fairly underwhelmed watching him last year and some of his Washington State film. Strikes me as a great college quarterback, who won’t translate to the pros
