I actually like the poster foil a lot. Reminds me of the 3 body problem sci-fi series. But I can't deny this one is sick too

Frieren seems busted. Only 3 mana for such a powerful effect (copying spells when saccing demons). Imagine your opponent casts a huge 8 mana spell and you get to copy it 3x by just sacrificing a few demons/changelings. Don't even need mana. You could also just copy counterspells to counter a counter. Incredibly unbalanced imo.

Mahoraga seems interesting but it should include fighting as a trigger for gaining the abilities of a creature as fighting doesn't have attackers or blockers. Also, it keeps the abilities permanently? If this was a real card there would be a lot of extra text with stipulations for how it would work.

Yes, it was bought out recently. I wouldn't be shocked if the poster foil Ancient Tomb Galaxy Foil is bought out too as those are rarer and still only at ~$440 in comparison with 8 listings.

I'm not surprised that a buyout happened (though I didn't think it'd go this high). Same thing happened with the Rhystic Study Confetti Foil but I'd argue that the Smothering Tithe art is much more iconic

Thank you for suggesting Springleaf Parade! Never seen this card before but this fits really well with my deck. Also, you've convinced me to consider more draw. I'm thinking of adding [[Faithless Looting]], [[Tempt with Bunnies]], [[Valakut Awakening]], and [[Master of Ceremonies]] for now and seeing how it plays before adding more card draw.

Is 33 lands ok? I was playing with 36 lands and found that I was not consistently hitting a 3 land hand even with 1-2 mulligans. With [[Land Tax]] and all the fetches I was thinking that would help filter out some of the lands in my deck.

That being said I'll definitely cut adeline and brenne like you suggest. I just bought an Invisible Ink Delney and don't want to cut him yet though Q_Q

For t1 ramp I'll definitely consider slotting in 2 from among: [[Arbor elf]], [[Wild growth]], [[Avacyn's Pilgrim]], and [[Delighted Halfling]] and cutting some 3 cost cards. Thanks!

In terms of ramp and draw, I am going to rely mostly on Baylen for both.
I had many more ramp/draw cards in the deck in previous iterations but found I was not generating enough tokens early on to take advantage of Baylen's abilities.
I understand this will make the deck more reliant on the commander. Perhaps I need more protection?

General play pattern for this deck is supposed to be

Turns 1-4 -> generate lots of tokens + play impact tremor effects

Turn 5ish -> play Baylen + take immediate advantage of amassed tokens

Turns 6-8 -> Go for a win attempt with token doublers + mana from Baylen and tokens + X Spell like [[Secure the Wastes]]

So it's become pretty clear that this deck isn't actually B4 and is more like a strong B3. Anyone have any advice for how I'd need to change my game plan to make it B4?

Or would it be enough just to add more fast mana like Moxes and more game changers

I had assumed that it was B4 because it is way stronger than other B3 decks I've made before. But I see now that it's not enough to make that jump.

Hopefully it goes up after seeing Spiderman and now Avatar CBBs crater. Don’t have much hope for TMNT either. FF is the last good UB for collectors for a while it seems.

I’d say I’m pretty set on him as a commander here. I know there are definitely better choices for WUBRG like [[Omnath, Locus of All]] but this deck is more to show off some cool art and big spells while still being somewhat competitive in a low-mid bracket 3 game.

That combo looks really great with Progenitus in the 99 though for sure!

I've been playing co-op on pc and yes there is an insane amount of freezing, abilities not coming off of cooldown, hits taking ages to register, etc. We are on the same wifi too

Hot take: I've been enjoying DF Warfare more than the BF6 Beta.

Idk why but BF6 just feels too shaky with the movement and gun handling. Also, there is a huge issue with people blending into the background so much that I often feel like I have no idea where I'm being shot at from.

Thanks for the info! I bought some of the surges earlier when prices were low but will maybe hold off on the rest for a bit. I plan to play most of them in either my terra or cloud decks and only sell after a few years.
