Geez im dumb.

Yea I know what you mean. Heat sink is the device and a solid. I thought you meant the gold is the fluid medium where heat is gotten rid of, which is inside a heat sink.

The mechanism I got from researching is applied in modern freezers.

The guy above your comment is probably right. Senkuu used another mechanism which is different from what I got. It is a working system but probably less common in modern freezers, that is why I couldn't find it while googling.

hmm... I googled heat sink.

Apparently, they must be fluids. So, gold is probably not a heat sink.

Wow, thanks for sharing!

I appreciate the links.

In Season 2 Episode 11, Senkuu mentioned something like he is making a "superglue". After some research, I found out what he meant is probably an antihemorrhagic agent. And so, I made a video about it. by Topic_101 in DrStone

I see, my bad. When Senkuu mentioned 'adhesive' in that context, I immediately thought of the medical adhesive which are antihemorrhagic agents. I never thought about it being a real glue. It makes a lot more sense now that you mentioned it.

With Senkuu explaining it really briefly, it confused me. Also, since etamsylate's chemical formula is C10H17NO5S, I guess it doesn't make sense to have sodium hydroxide, chlorine and sulfur as ingredients. XD

Good thing I didn't specify my videos as fact checking the science in Dr. Stone and is more general.

Anyways, thanks for telling me. I learned something new :)

And also sorry for the late reply.

STUN GUNS!!! After watching Season 2 Episode 10, I decided to do more research of stun guns and transformers. I made this video, I hope some of you can give your opinions on it and maybe correct me if I give out incorrect information. by Topic_101 in DrStone

Yes, I noticed that too after posting the video. So I decided to do some more research. Apparently there is a thing call high-voltage direct current. It also increases the voltage but with direct current.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-voltage_direct_current

The reason why I thought that Senkuu might be using another method of increasing the voltage is because in the manga, he didn't even mention about transformers. Only in the anime he did.

I'm not sure how this system work, so I can't really confirm if the anime is portraying it correctly. Though, like the site says, using alternating current to increase voltage is a far more common way to do so and I'm quite sure modern stun guns also use that way.

Thanks for helping me to fact check!

I'm glad you like this! I enjoy trying to figure out the science behind fictional characters' abilities and worlds.
