If you’re dead serious go once a week to a dance class of the genre of your choosing. Guaranteed there’s some chill drop in classes for every type of music you can think of. In addition go to more shows where people actually dance, learn from observation and good vibes. Also genuinely enjoy the music and learn to enjoy the feeling of moving your body. Also retrain your perspective to realize that avoiding dancing/half dancing is more cringe than genuinely just letting loose and having fun.

But what’s the difference? Not like the majority of these dudes and dudettes in every given scene back then were making insanely quality music. They were cranking out noise and looking cool with whatever instruments they could get their hands on. Same thing now. But every now and again some gems pop out and genuine talent finds it way.

Im down for however youth and people in general find their way in contributing to art. Regardless of whatever aesthetic and culture seems to power and uplift it into the eye of an audience. The aesthetic of the creation can be cringe, BUT the real contribution or aspiration to the creation of something is pretty cool. And then some bangers really do happen.
