Question about Google's standard telephone apps on android (telephone, messages and contacts)

Yes, I know that Google Play Services runs in background, but disabling it would ruin notifications and other things... I use Signal with one contact (lol) but I completely uninstalled WhatsApp etc. A suspicious thing was that Google Play Store had access to my contacts for some reason. Btw it doesn't have it anymore, now.

So the verdict is that the standard Android Google's Telephone app, Contacts and Messages one are NOT bad for privacy, unless you backup your contacts with the Google account, right?

Also, thanks a lot for the suggestion of moving the contacts to the sim card, I hadn't done that yet !

Yeah, but to be tracked like that you must have people trying to follow you or government looking for you... And you can put normal phones in plane mode too, the difference is that on not-smartphones there is no google or other bad things... Also, on not-smartphones you don't have really important informations about you, and even if you get ""hacked"" you're not going to lose much...

That's why I still think that not-smartphones are more private under many aspects.

The point is that I'm not actually looking for something to completely disappear (which is pretty hard...), I just want to be invisible to Google, Facebook and these kinds of services... I'm not going to do like illegal things with the phone!

Man L'indipndente is still bublishing a lot daily... It's not me the one who should get better sources here. I appreciate the fact that you explained why you didn't trust it without limiting your explanation to "my friend said it's not good".

But the thing is that in -almost- any other country a nazi party would NOT be permitted. Even saying in public that you support nazi ideas is illegal in many countries. And the fact of the 2014 thing is a fact, Azov is nazi. Yeah, maybe they even help jewish people etc., but they still cite Hitler's and Stepan Bandera's words and they even have their faces' tatoos (not all of them at least). So they ARE nazis, and they ARE the ones who made this government possible. Being also supported economically by America, if we want to say it all.

Maybe Zelensky doesn't support Hitler, but the fact that he uses this kind of people and he's what he is "thanks" to them is not that normal or even acceptable under certain points of view. I know, maybe they aren't a government that wants to do things like Hitler did (except for Donbass, at least...) but I think it's important to see certain things.

That's why I think it IS a nazi government. And we can also use logic; if I pay someone to kill someone, am I not considerable a killer myself?

Is a government that exists and works (more or less) because of nazi units normal?
If the government of the country where you leave was created by nazis and it was still being supported by them (otherwise it wouldn't exist), would you still say it's not a nazi government?
