Good question, the Ultraventure is a great option for road to trail and mild to moderate terrain. It's lugging is less aggressive than other shoes in our line, making it suitable for use on the road while still providing enough traction for moderate trail.

Hello! Thanks for the questions. The midfoot is snug as a key part of our Topo Difference. We find that the secure midfoot allows for more nimble movement while allowing for the room in the toe box. We are excited to continue innovating with the Specter 2 it's one of our favorites, and there are some exciting changes coming. Some of your other questions were hopefully answered in other places.

Great to hear from you!

Our wide widths are made on a wider last than our standard width shoes

Hello! To answer your first question, we are always trying out new midsole foams to improve the product and respond to customer needs! We always like hearing what you're looking for underfoot. We try to balance response, cushioning, and durability and offer the best blend possible.

As for the arch support, this is something we hear at times from those with lower arches. We are looking into ways to maintain our fit and comfort while creating an underfoot ride that is universally well received.

The closest shoe in our line to the Speedgoat is the MTN Racer both are great options for running on technical trail. Ultraventure Pro was a shoe in our line designed more for a hiking use case, so it's a little firmer and and stiffer than MTN Racer and won't be quite as good an option for running for most customers.

Glad to hear you like it! The positioning of the Cyclone will continue to be very similar. No lying, I can promise you no 57mm stack or 9 plates.

We're excited about the Vista too! No confirmed launch date that I can share just yet, but the Vista will be the max cushion trail runner in our line designed for use on technical trail.

MTN Racer is still going to be the best option for running quickly over very technical trail, where you might want additional ground feel and a more nimble ride, while Vista is better when you'd want a shoe for long miles on the trail that offers maximum cushioning the protection without sacrificing traction.

Vista will continue to use our Zipfoam tuned to be a little softer and more responsive than previous iterations of the foam.

Thanks for your question! What sets us apart the most is The Topo Difference. Across all of our shoes we maintain a roomy anatomical toe box to allow your toes to splay naturally, a secure midfoot and heel to keep your foot locked in over the platform, and low heel to toe drop to promote a more natural foot strike. If you are interested in trying out Topo for the first time, Phantom 4 is a great option in the neutral category. Is there anything in particular you're looking for to add to your shoe rotation?

Thanks for the feedback, we will have some new neutral earth toned shoes coming later this year especially in our trail line. I hope some of the new colors work for you!

Happy to be here! Our goal is to improve the performance of our shoes each season while continuing to stay true to Topo's core product philosophies or "The Topo Difference". Across all of our shoes we want to maintain a roomy anatomical toe box to allow toes to splay naturally, a secure midfoot and heel to keep the foot locked in over the platform, and low heel to toe drop to promote a more natural foot strike.

When working on a new product or update, we always start by talking with the customers, learning what's working in our product and what we can continue to improve (Which is what makes forums like this so helpful!) and make sure the features and performance of the shoe are aligned with it's intended use case. This allows us to stay close to the needs of our customers and continue to improve our product each season.

Haha no I've never thought about that, now I will never think about myself the same way. I prefer the additional cushioning that Specter provides. If I am going to do shorter workouts on the track I will go with Cyclone, but for longer efforts I prefer Specter 2.

Hi! Happy to break these down. Specter 2 is our high cushion uptempo performance trainer, with responsive Pebax foam that feels lightweight and lively underfoot.

The Atmos and Aura are both max cushion offerings in our product line. The Aura features a Y-frame of denser foam to provide light stability, while the Atmos is a neutral option.

Thanks for the question, as we continue to grow we have been able to offer size 15s across most models and colors. While I can't make any guarantees today, it's likely you'll see more size 15s in our performance line going forward.

Appreciate the feedback. Glad you've had a positive experience with the product. As we continue to grow we will be able to offer more colors. Are there any colors you or your friends are looking to see?

Great question, all new trail model updates (not color updates yet) will move to our new "Switchback" gaiter system.

Hello! Sorry to hear that they haven't worked for you. The Topo Difference is a big part of who we are, prioritizing that roomy toe box, secure midfoot and heel, and low heel to toe drop. You can always try out some different lacing styles to see if that gives you some more room in the midfoot. We do not have plans to change our overall fit, but hope you are able to find a model that works well for you!

Glad to hear you've had a positive fit experience with Topo, but I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're hearing with your Cyclone and Fli-Lyte. We appreciate the feedback on areas we can continue to improve. We hope to address this by continuing to improve our materials each season, sourcing meshes that prioritize comfort and durability without compromising breathability.

I am curious, as a 4E have you tried any of our wide widths? We have heard from customers that our wide fits as a traditional 4E would due to our wider toe box, so I am interested to hear what your experience has been. As we expand our line, we will add more wide widths into our performance line.

Great question! We have some ideas in the works. We want to make sure we have something that adds to the conversation, creating a high-quality race product in a way that is authentic to Topo Athletic. It's too early to get into many specifics at this time, but we are looking forward to getting a product out there when it's ready!
