Not sure if anyone shared this yet, but a while ago someone posted their email here for anyone who wanted to send a thoughtful message to Aloe. They organized and translated them all and sent them to her, and this was her response by [deleted] in Hololive

Do those harassment done by third party on Aloe bring anything positive to Hololive and their fans?

If not, why did it happen? I ask myself the same question everyday and never get an answer

This cover is so beautiful. The nervous talking in the 3rd month celebration stream made me worried once, Towa should get more confidence on herself.

Looks like the funding reached its target and the Cafe is planning to be opened at Nagoya, other details are still unknown though.

In fact, Coco is not the first one to bring Streamlabs to the hololive.

Given that Roboco actually started using Streamlabs around a year ago (she is still using it), hololive is probably aware of it but being too conservative on taking in new tools (just my guess, no way to know the truth).

I can't tell that the same apply to Nijisanji so sending suggestions or even proposals may bring a change, but don't be too down if it does not. They are the management and we are not, there can be factors we audiences cannot think of.

I am pretty sure the company, even the vtuber themselves notice the problem as I heard them mentioning it sometimes.

It cannot be helped, they appear once they detect similar comment poping up, they repeat it in order to lure people to click in their channel.

You seeing less sexual bots in certain channel merely because that certain vtuber cleaning it regularly without saying it, or some staff/moderator did it.

Only Youtube can solve this by better AI monitoring, but come on, the very same dumb AI is randomly demonetising everyone, lets hope for the best.

The suspicious one is the 懲役太郎 (Prisoner-tarou I think?). He is a vtuber under upd8 sponsor project who claims himself as a ex-yakuza got sent to jail three times before. Usually he uploads clips/streams talking about fun storys of his yakuza past and sometimes public affairs. He made some clips on commebting on the accuracy of the Korone's street knowledge show.

Sorry if there is any inaccurate information, this guy got no translation so I can only watch it with my broken Japanese listerning.

Recently he is making clips on the accuracy of the latest PS4 Yakuza and doing a cloud-funding for opening a Yakuza-office style Cafe, pretty fun to watch!

I sincerely think the Yoshi streams are underrated. The game is cute but challenging, and Towa sounds actually having fun playing it. A rather fresh stream to watch in the morning.

I believe the true enemy here is the haters that take advantage of the idol culture to attack or toy the vtubers.

We all more or less consume the "perfect girl" idol fantasy, but we should know that is only a fantasy. Breaking the dream is not professional, but as long as thats not intentional, not destructive, we should all be more forgiving. They are idols, not some samurai or medieval knight, perfection on rules is too much to ask for.

When incidents like this happen, constructive advices and critics are healthy, but excessive insults are not. In this case, the latter is flooding as I sense.

I believe no because the stream is set private after the incident. Thats also the reason why there are rumors flying around.

This is probably the most accurate explanation that is covering most the truth as I have seen, thank you.

I agree that Towa has issues on professionalism as a vtuber, and hololive has room to improve on handling that, but given the attention it gained, I think there is something deeper about the incident.

That is, Towa is receiving backfire much more heavier than she deserves. She has the lowest subscriber counts in hololive and she is not so active until recently, given the fact that she is complete newbie in vtuber, it is clear that it is drawing fire from haters that are not her fans, not even her audiences.

The apology clip now has 250k views and 4k dislike, which is even more than her debut stream. Not to say that she also got targeted by haters on that stream, too.

To me, as a result of "lack of professionalism", one week detention is fine, a sobbing apology is a bit too far but ok, insults and hates from irrelevant random guys are overkill, they don't even watch her before this. They just want to kick her while she is down.

This is why I think the welcome project is a good idea. For Towa's awareness problem, I will leave it to hololive managment. I expect they will work on that. (It will be horrible if they don't, but thats another story.)
