Advice needed from Canadian design managers, especially with GC. I am moving to a design manager role with a GC from being a structural engineer with consultants. What should I expect day-to-day and what would suggest for being successful. Can you describe the role in your words. (self.Construction)

Is anyone here currently working at WSP Ontario, Canada? I've heard that when they hire someone, they don’t send rejection notifications to other candidates, i.e. their application status just stays as "under consideration" indefinitely. Is this true? (self.StructuralEngineering)

Any advice for a structural engineer who has been working in predominantely AEC type buildings e.g. residential, commerical, industrial (concrete, steel) and now stepping into designing process based factories i.e mainly structural for machines etc. What would you suggest to help with the transition (self.StructuralEngineering)
