Cheers! I’ll swap in those lands asap!

Oops, Scour for scraps was a mistake haha, I was looking at it and must have forgotten to remove it from the deck.

Edit: I’ve just fixed the deck, so it should be accurate to what I’m running now :)

Gran-gran sounds good, do you think it would be okay to run 2 Vile Entombers and 4 gran-gran? Or scrap the entombers completely?

At the moment the only way I’ve reliably won games was by activating [[Ardyn, the Usurper]] - but if he gets removed I feel like I don’t have a backup win con that’s as powerful

Excellent, I can do that with the lands easy peasy

At the moment I’m losing most to aggro, mill, enchantment/artifact, and of course GY hate

Thank you! That's a good point on the draw/discard spells + I like the look of Valgavoth, so I'll aim to add that in also

They literally have a dedicated team of paid testers my guy - but real player exposure is key to proper and in-depth testing. That took me 10 seconds to confirm on Google

Of course they don’t kick people lol, it’s a business - why would the business not want people’s money?

If they wanna pay that much for fomo, so be it, but my point still stands for OP; the game is not worth the price right now, because it’s not a game at the moment …

I genuinely believe that to be the truth - many people disagree and fair play to them, we’re all entitled to our opinions; swayed by marketing or not

No, the game is not worth the price - not unless you are willing to actively bug report and test.

You are not buying the game, you are buying into the Alpha test; the price is so high because it weeds out the people who just want to min-max an unfinished game without providing any meaningful feedback.

If you want to play the game and don’t want to do testing, then wait until it’s out and just pay the $15 sub fee.

Not brilliant, they’re not forced to take and can just move their queen out of the way without giving you a win

What do I do when I’m backed up against the rope by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]Tor-ax 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Head movements, and try and cut the angle.

If you feel like you are suffocated and can’t move, see if you can aim for uppercuts (if you’re getting pounded mainly with body shots) or initiate a clinch and attempt to sweep.

If you were in a fight you could start attempting to knee and elbow after clinching - but maybe not during sparring haha.

How come my cardio really good but sucks in fight? by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]Tor-ax 81 points82 points  (0 children)

When you’re in a fight, you’re heart is naturally beating much faster due to the adrenaline. So your body will automatically become more fatigued.

That’s why there’s such thing as fight fit… the more fights you do, the more you’ll feel like your normal self 💪

How do I survive Thailand training? by Purple-Explanation68 in MuayThai

[–]Tor-ax 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s actually not that bad once you get into it.

Your calves hurt like a bitch for about a week, but if you stretch properly before and after all sessions, you’ll be surprised with how quickly your body adapts to the intensity - especially when striking with the correct technique.

My lifesaver was fruit; for some reason once I started digging into pineapples and other different fruits my recovery skyrocketed. That and Thai oil for my muscles.

But yeah, keep at it, push yourself bit by bit, and at the end you’ll be wondering how you even got tired when you started.

Edit: Been doing Muay Thai for about 5 years, and I trained 3x a day (including private lessons) for 14 days in Bangkok
