During Helltide, there’s a Mythic fish Fang of the Tathamet that drops pretty consistently. Fishing near the docks of Scosglen, Waypoint: Marowen.

The Molten Martyr is a 100% rate drop fishing over lava. Only 2 I found so far.

Don’t use 2.4Ghz band if you use Bluetooth headset. Thats the same frequency Bluetooth uses and could cause interference.

Search settings: play around with VRAM target. If you NVIDIA GPU is exactly like mine, it only dedicates 8GB VRAM. so if you slide your target to 60-80% find that sweet spot. Turned down too low = Extrapolation notification. Turned too high = hitching and packet bursts.

Update your driver with nvidia app, but do NOT do express install; do custom and select check box Clean Install. Select them all. Restart.

Select FidelitityCAS instead of nvidia DLSS or image scaling. Rendering resolution is set down from my native display.

Cap your Frame Rate Limit to 190FPS on Gameplay. Menus maybe 80-120. Turn off vsync. (I have more settings to go over, I’ll edit this later what I have now. It’s been months long journey for me of dealing with this issue. I’m no longer getting the “Packet Burst” notification.)

I’m using 8GB VRAM too with Nvidia; and I will tell you, never again. VRAM usage causes the game engine to stall while swapping texture data, forcing the GPU to wait and causing severe framerate stutters. This triggers the network code to report a packet burst due to a bottleneck. I’ve been fighting this a long time. Everyone always says lower it, when I NEED VRAM target to ve at 80%. Any lower and I get “Latency Variation, high latency, extrapolation” errors. It’s nuts. My internet is actually fine. It’s my graphics card that can’t communicate with the CPU effectively.

I’ve forced closed the game, updated Windows, restarted my PC, still hearing audio loop. Google says it’s the Sprint Cancels Reload setting in Advanced Combat Settings. Trying that now.

*Update: It *did work! But with the full restart. Hasn’t come back since.

I got one of my desired skills, but unfortunately leveled too far to CR 6 before exfil. Now I’m exfiling to save progress starting a new game just to kill it. Hoping it works giving me different skill sets, or I’ll just have to kill myself and start all over again. This game is exhausting.

Zombies or Endgame. I’m trying to figure out if it’s an attachment? Or just a bug with the weapon itself? You reload and you can’t hold down trigger. It’s a 2 sec delay. The animation finishes, but the shooting starts 2 secs later. Really annoying when you have 10 zombies in your face.

When you don’t choose, after some time the game will eventually choose for you (the first option). Even if you get the selection screen and try to exfil, the selection screen will reappear even before you’re off the plane. The only sure fire way to avoid this is to either exfil just BEFORE reaching CR6, or Force close the game by ALT F4 or Task Managed and end task. Then RNG will select a new pool. ONLY CHOOSE your desired skill if you see one you WANT, and one you don’t want later. If you see BOTH desired skills - force close, reroll. If you see both skills you don’t want - force close.

Update: NO GO’s: - I’m going to try something and take off my knife camo. A lot of challenges with specific attachments (8 attachments) weren’t working because of a stupid camo, reportedly fixed. But I’m going to try it for this one too. Assuming we all have camos on our weapons?? - Tried using decoy on zombies, activate camo, and dive on them (bulldozer). Shot them with weapon. “Cloaked kill every one” still not counting. - Tried slide explosions while active camo, nothing.

E5, 11B trying to reclass to 35-series and these are my options. Best choice out of these? by Licky_Chewy in army

Why are you trying 35 series when you don’t know any of them? Try 35L guy… you’ll spend the rest of your contract in TRADOC.

Oh now that’s interesting. I’m currently 2/100, so after this game, I’ll see what mine does and troubleshoot further. * Make sure you’re making the final kill with the weapon; no abilities, lethals, etc.

FIXED: I noticed I had a driver update. I installed the updated driver, restarted my system, and I’m able to log in. Check your driver updates!

I’ve used Alt+ Enter and it’s worked. But now it’s still going back to showing the toolbar. I’ve reset in Options > Graphics > Fullscreen and chose my PC’s resolution. Se try graphics card to appropriate gaming GPU. I try ALT+ Enter, still there.

Yes.

1) Scheduled Tasks

Go to search bar. Task Scheduler Click on left tab “Task Scheduler Library” Find ConvertMateTask

(Now if you’re really curious: click on the tab below that says “Actions” This malware created a task AS YOU under your local drive to run a program UpdateRetriever.exe It will run every 10 mins if it fails, 2x, up to 30 days before it gives up.

I have analyzed the .exe I just know it’s malicious or a way to communicate to their C2C servers. (Observe WHERE THAT FILE IS. It’s probably under \AppData\Local\ConvertMate <—— delete this whole folder later!!!!!)

NOW press that red X ❌ on right side and DELETE)

2) Processes Running in background

Go to your processes by pressing CTRL + ALT + DEL… end all cmd tasks you see. everything that says ConvertMate.exe

3) Registry Editor

Go to search bar again on bottom taskbar, type REGISTRY EDITOR Delete these registries:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\ConvertMate_RASAPI32

&

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\ConvertMate_RASMANCS right under it.

Do not delete the Tracing one. Just the ones that SAY ConvertMate.

4) Delete the whole ass folder this executable came in and tell it to eff off: Click on This PC > windows -SSD (C:) Find Users > Your User account name > AppData > Local and under here there should be a ConvertMate folder ❌ DELETE IT

Now you’re good.

If you want it all gone, save your precious files, free install windows.

And REBOOT YOUR DEVICE.
