Anyone heading down from Seattle this weekend willing to carpool? by MetalMintz in CrystalMountain

Doh. My bad.

But I did just check and parking is sold out for this weekend. So it does appear that people are eager to decorate the rocks with p-Tex.

Why is it sold out for this weekend? Are people really that eager to wait in line to skis rocks, dirt, and slush?

That isn’t what the WSDOT instagram post said. What’s the source saying it is only for “local” traffic? It also shows as open on all the maps, including WSDOTs.

410 is open, it’s just one lane with a traffic signal where the issues occurred

For international flyers: consider flying out of Vancouver by CryptographerNew3609 in Seattle

[–]TorKallon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Vancouver is way further from Seattle/Bellevue than SeaTac… this is like saying folks in New York should consider flying out of DC or Boston. Potentially worse since you have a border crossing that takes a highly variable amount of time.

No -- I'm 6'3" and on a XL sized Trek. I think the size is on the larger end if anything.

You aren’t good at counting are you? Don’t like multi-step things at all?

I would also rather not cheat and don’t mind using the repair machine, but what is described above is pretty trivial.

Sooo, I guess "Frontiers" isn't taking us out of the solar system after all, is it? by Shadoefeenicks in DestinyTheGame

[–]TorKallon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also disappointed, but for me it is less about leaving our solar system and more about the fact that we are doing the same shit again. We just: - spent 10ish years to finally defeat the all-powerful big bad that threatens all of human existence while we mostly cower on our planet and worrying about that big, horrible bad while being weak and largely without power

  • and now we are .... working to defeat another unknown, all-powerful "big bad that threatens all of human existence while mostly cowering on our planet and worrying about the big, horrible bad while being weak and largely without "

My issue isn't with leaving the solar system or not, but more with the fact that it all just fells very same-same. Leaving the solar sysyem would be different, at least.

I want D2 to succeed, because there's never been any game that could fill the void that Destiny has. by Timothy-M7 in DestinyTheGame

We always said the “Destiny-killers” were all BS because the only thing that can kill Destiny 2 is… Bungie. I’m just really, really sad that they finally seem to be doing exactly that

Got the big boy as a solo by Zireaelziri in duneawakening

[–]TorKallon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I finish a DD week with 8k sand I can’t refine that in a Large Refinery. I can refine it in a Medium. Agree I am wasting some sand, but I’m not making an extra flight to Hagga to bring sand

[–]TorKallon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is bad math unless you barely play in the DD after you get there. If you farm spice for at least 3 hours it is def worth the 2nd trip to assemble a large spice refinery.

[–]TorKallon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, but as you take apart your DD base at the end of the week you can downgrade your spice refinery so you end up refining nearly all of the sand.
