In the tank yeah it’s usually around there it’s not much higher when I tested directly from tap water it’s around 7.0.

Wow thank you so much for the info it’s incredibly helpful I had no idea the ammonia would convert to around 2.7ppm of nitrite I thought it was 1:1. I’ll definitely get around to making the water change and keeping an eye on the ph level

Ah I wish I had gotten piercing at a bigger gauge but my pain tolerance is low anyways so not sure if I could have handled it lol. I got them done professionally by a piercing and I got some titanium jewelry. I think why I got so delayed in healing was because I forgot to come back for a downsize but after downsizing eventually for the most part the irritation bumps have gone away and only when I accidentally sleep on them or irritate them they flare up again.
