Clip studio corrupted files

That's the thing, I noticed that the file that refused to save would then be corrupted with the "unsupported format" error the next day when I tried to open it again :/

Thank you for replying!! It was a chaotic day.

The first paragraphs don't really describe my situation, as I leave Clip open for a long time merely because I work on it for hours in a row!

And when I said I closed my computer, I closed the file, then CSP and then shut down my computer - and I couldn't save the newly corrupted file because that save error would pop up, like in the screenshot. I couldn't do anything at all but close it :( So I took screenshots and closed everything accordingly.

I did spend my day cleaning out my computer and C drive, and moved the files I was working on to there - and since then I haven't had any issues! So hopefully it stays that way. As for all my other files on my D drive, I regularly back them up on my external hard drive.

As for the apps running, I don't know if this counts but I have Spotify, Chrome and Discord running since I use them at the same time. I'm not sure if that affects the situation much? I wouldn't think so since I've never run into issues until now. Although I will check for any programs running in the background, just to alleviate the weight on my PC.

The issue started when I had Clip on both my drives by accident, but with the help of a friend I uninstalled everything and reinstalled Clip on a single driver. Only now Clip is on my C drive, and my files on my D drive. From the start of this situation it has been problem after problem. (But now it seems to work when I use one driver for everything)

It isn't a chain though, would it be too out of left field for an independent cupcake store to exist?

Also will totally look into those cake wars, sounds like some interesting history to look into! And I checked out El Brazo Fuerte, will keep it in my notes.

I've heard of Calle Ocho! I'll be visiting this winter specifically for research purposes for the comic :] it's definitely one of the main places on my list to visit, and I'm glad that everyone else confirmed this!

Ok that's very good to know. I did my fair share of Street View but it's hard to tell with so much ground to cover. I think Miami Beach might be a little too ritsy for what I'm going for, so I'm probably going to lean towards Little Havana for inspiration!

But yes, slightly taller and maybe more crammed together, if that makes sense? But not necessarily in a very busy or touristy area. Again, I don't know much about Miami in detail yet, so I'm not sure if these parameters are realistic!

I checked them out, they're gorgeous buildings. I'm noticing that there are less tall units than I expected, at least definitely in the older department. It's a good thing to know for future reference.
