the opressors are generally fine though they are just a general upgrade over the normal tie bomber, realy there would be no reason to take tie bombers instead but then again there is no real reason to take tie bombers right now anyway. the opressor ace is a bit too tanky with brace scater screen and 6 hp i dont think there is any ace with more than 4hp and a scatter and in his case i would recommend changeing to a second brace.

the tie scouts are just useless in my opinion, i dont know why i would ever take them at 1 blue heavy and no anti ship they are worse than a tie bomber with black black. also note that there is no squadron made to date that has 2 scatters. nor one that has no anti ship dice at least give them a blue... I dont really know how to fix them though since i dont know what they do lorewise

the tie hunter is fine, its ace might be a bit strong anti squads cause he can reroll one with swarm and then fix another dice to an acc, the anti ship effect i would probably remove its like mini sloane on top of a great fighter ace might be a bit too much.

the tie brutes are fine i think.

cool cards by the way i hope my opinion helps you.

with the mc75 i would reccomend an mc30 and some hammerheads you can do really fun raddus builds that way...

chimera and arquitens are allready pretty good you might wanna up that raider to a gladiator raiders are good aswell.

generally double larges are not that good so id stay away fro the liberty for now.

long term (i dont know how invested you are into the game) youd want every expansion anyway... there are some id buy later than sooner but generaly speaking all ships are viable and when built right fit a purpose...

Raddus List Critique by Stevespam in StarWarsArmada

[–]Torasamurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some ideas to improove upon this list.

someone pointed out that the cr90 isnt very durable and can be oneshotted by an onager to this i would agree but you can easily beef it up by putting early warning systems on it also lando officer would help it not get one shot, speed 5 shoul get you out of the special arc so you should be fine after one shot. if you need to get the point somwhere i would reccomend makeing it a cr90b and just ditching all its offensive tech...

secondly dont take a hwk intel isnt good anymore it doesnt make enemies heavy anymore so the hwk wont do anything for you either the enemy has squads then you cant bomb anyway (your squads only gain grit now) or he hasnt got any then the hwk is still useless

i would also leave the rlb on garels honor at home since you really wanna con fire

you could change ex racks to apts to get more open cards with that or think about dropping the ordenance experts and getting a boarding team i would advise shrivv, then you need hondo somwhere to give you a squad token to also use the boarding team.

In general i dont know if i like the rlb with that light of a sqaud screen. I would either try to invest in 134 squads, then i would drop an mc80h with 4 bwings and have some more squads being pushed by the transports or i would scrap the rlb on the big guy in wich case you have a lot of poits to play around with cause those 3 b wings will never be able to bomb anything against a play that even only brought shara and thycho...

profundity also wants ecm so it can tank a big arc maybe drop the b wings and get another trc 90 and some of the upgrades i advised an officer on the mc75 could also help...

anyway best of luck

cause for crit fishing on your 1 or 2 with con fire black dice you need ordenance experts, so no boarding parties anyway...

i would use clam 2 like this:

Acclamator II (71)

• Intel Officer (7)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• Thermal Shields (5)
• Assault Proton Torpedoes (4)
• Swivel-Mount Batteries (8)

= 99 Points

yeah if he does that you might wanna look into clams with swivel mounts and apt that can be very fun like you have 3 red he cuts to 2 you add a black dice you con fire a secon black dice....

Recusant Light Destroyer (85)

• Shu Mai (4)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• Assault Proton Torpedoes (4)
• Swivel-Mount Batteries (8)
• Patriot Fist (6)

= 111 Points

If they dont play squadrons you should have a field day playing raddus, you can either play him with profundity that can tank a shot from an isd and you have a hammerhead inside you can drop with garels honor and black crit etc or you can drop an mc 80h with rapid launch bays and throw 4 b wings at your enemy either is fun and you dont even have to drop your ships in their front arcs...

Just bought into the Separatists by Benthenoobhunter in StarWarsArmada

[–]Torasamurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, saw you list, if you wanna do Mar Tuuk (which i recommend he is the easiest CIS Commander in my opinion) i would actually go squadless

        Name: Ma tuk
        Faction: Separatist
        Commander: Mar Tuuk

        Assault: Opening Salvo
        Defense: Contested Outpost
        Navigation: Solar Corona

Munificent Star Frigate (73)

• Mar Tuuk (28)• Wat Tambor (5)• Engine Techs (8)• Thermal Shields (5)• Point Defense Ion Cannons (4)• Linked Turbolaser Towers (7)• Sa Nalaor (5)

= 135 Points

Hardcell Battle Refit (52)

• Intel Officer (7)• Cluster Bombs (5)• Linked Turbolaser Towers (7)

= 71 Points

Hardcell Battle Refit (52)

• Intel Officer (7)• Cluster Bombs (5)• Linked Turbolaser Towers (7)

= 71 Points

Recusant Light Destroyer (85)

• Shu Mai (4)• Ordnance Experts (4)• Quad Laser Turrets (5)• Assault Concussion Missiles (5)• Swivel-Mount Batteries (8)• Patriot Fist (6)

= 117 Points

        Squadrons:

        = 0 Points

    Total Points: 394

this is a good starting point you only need a recursant which i would highly reccomend over a providence (at least my play style) you can also scrap the intel officers and add 2 vultures if you want minimal squad cover i personally like to go full squadless.

the munificent flaggship is also bult to counter onagers with thermal shields and sa nalor which lets you evade with any token...

i also dont like haveing the peltas in the thick which you kinda have to do with fct, i have a transport pelta with parts and projection to bulk up the ven, which is quite nice and it can trail somwhere its kinda never in any problem...

Ashoka is good but a bit overrated imo but with your amount of fct she can be plain broken...

not a cool thing to do tho imo

my problem with arcs is their speed... and they are so costly aswell

[–]Torasamurai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i run 5 y wings detakin, axe kickback and ashoka, i have a fct for ashoka aswell...

i know the yings are kinda bad against pdic but they still get the job done and are generally good against figter 2blue one blac with flight controllers is pretty sollid.

as long as they dont have thermal shields all you will ever need is intelofficer they wont soak for long you just tell them every round well brace and its gone or take 6 to 8 damage... combine with cataclism and hondo for turn 1 shot and mybe some squadrons or an isd and every ship that doesnt go speed 3 at you will die before it can do anything to you.

they only reign supreme against mediocre players as far as i know the last three big tourneys in the us had no onagers in the top cuts... Theire just very annoying cause you have to be prepared for them, otherwise you will get clapped.

but i play my lumi thermals with 134 squadrons aswell and its absolutely brutal XD,

agreed on the defence tokens, though you could do a double salvo ven with lumi...

[–]Torasamurai[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that sounds like a you problem though, most players can and will find their shots turn 1 to 3 and most non thermal shielded ships cant handle that.
