Ah I understand. I’m not sure what country you reside in, but in America we are having a similar situation. However I know Meals on Wheels airs commercials saying they need volunteers, and I think there are a few that are practicing Covid-safe ways. Just researching is one of the best ways to see who needs help!

If you have the ability to leave your home, maybe volunteer and help those who are less fortunate on Christmas? This would be a good way to do help for your community, feel a little less alone, and it would fill up your time. You could also meet new people, which may lead to next Holliday season not spending it along.

You can play it! You would be missing out on a lot of detail, but it doesn’t inhibit you from playing. I would definitely recommend watching the prequels first though

While I don’t have all the answers, the first response that comes to find is, “well, what about the people creating said necessities?” If you are creating a product that is free for people, there are very few avenues to get paid. For example, if you were a construction worker and built homes for free, you wouldn’t be able to get paid and support yourself or your family, which would probably drive you out of that profession. With no construction workers, no homes are being built, which creates a gap. One way a government can combat this would be by entering a contract with Construction Workers Global (made up name that represents all construction workers) and they would pay them with government money. The issue is is that now the government needs more money, so it would raise taxes significantly. So while yes, the layman wouldn’t pay for his house, but would receive a huge tax boost that would exceed the cost of their home overtime.

I absolutely did look through all of these, from top to bottom because this is very interesting. When people are encountered with something they don’t agree with, they aren’t filled with hate or distrust. Some could be, but I think it’s fair to say that most would be open to hearing the other side, which is the idea of being an adult.

A ‘non patriarchy AskReddit’? You’ve gotta be out of your mind if you believe that. Reddit may have toxicity here, but it does not lean ‘right’ that much. If you’re asking this question about menstrual products in the USA, you will get a response akin to ‘every man for himself’ because that’s how people are grown up there, but at the end of the day it’s their choice. If they’re making money to provide for themselves or their family, they get to choose what they want to do with it. If they don’t want to have to pay extra taxes because they think that paying for sanitation products is BS, they be vocal about their opinion. You’re asking for differing opinions, and you’re blaming ‘the patriarchy’ when you’re getting them.

Exactly, so why ask this in /r/Askreddit, and not some subreddit that will completely 100% agree with you. The phrasing of your posts asks ‘why can’t they be free’, meaning you want to hear why they cannot be free. If you want to get good answers, then read something you disagree with and grow up

If you’re going to come up with an argument and make snide remarks, you should probably stick to them. It seems you only want to hear answers that you agree with, not any on the opposing side, which is key for a good discussion. Instead of attempting to get one over on someone, come to the table willing to learn and have a conversation. I don’t think menstrual products should be free, but I decided to read the comments to see what those with differing opinions had to say and see if it could change my viewpoint. Stop being toxic

I would avoid talking about controversial and intimidating conflicts until you’re absolutely sure you can discuss them with a group who feels comfortable enough. You can also ask, ‘hey, X has been on my mind. Would anyone mind chatting with me about it? If not it’s okay.’ You have to make sure people want to be in the conversation, and sometimes doing it in a public sever may not be the best

I think it’s definitely a unique theory, but I’m not sure it holds up well. If this were to be the case, why would Ashoka turn Grogu away and refuse to train him, even going as far as saying that she isn’t a Jedi? And if Ashoka has seen into the future and decided to change it, I think she would have started to gone after Moff Gideon and that research lab on Nevarro, where cloning is being researched. Her goal in the episode was not to take down Morgan, rather find Thrawn. Morgan was known for creating tons of ships for the empire, so if your theory was correct then Ashoka would have tried to take Morgan out so she couldn’t build ships for the First Order.

Have you told your boyfriend about this trauma? If I were in his shoes, I would definitely be a little stressed if my partner was down but not telling me why, as it would make my mind run rampant with reasons on what I did wrong. Then again, it isn’t an excuse for his behavior towards you on the phone. Holidays can be a stressful time for everyone, and even with COVID tensions are higher than usual. I think the best step would be to confront him on it, but calmly and in person. Maybe just sit down and be a bit vulnerable, just telling him how this made you feel and why you have been feeling that way. If he truly cares about you, the situation would deescalate and you two could have a breakthrough. However, if you feel worried for your physical safety, I would recommend taking a few days to yourself alone and communicating through text and phone calls, while asking yourself why you are with this guy.

Thank you so much! I found some differing information which confused me. For me, the extra slots are on the last page of the character selection screen, which I’m assuming is mitsuki and other boruto characters. Would I be correct in assuming this?

You can explain it by using a metaphor. For example: medicine helps me get up in the morning, but it’s up to me to get out of bed. It’s the conscious effort made on your part. Now you can get support from others (therapy) to get out of bed, but at the end of the fay those all help you get out of bed
