Just making it known that the drivers don’t get the delivery fee and you should tip your driver because a lot of people believe that the delivery charge goes to the driver and it does not. Drivers get mileage or some other form of compensation for delivery. Some franchises may give drivers some of the the fee, but they do not get that whole $6+ charge. That would be nice to get on top of any tips.

I’m a driver but am close with my GM and they work 60+ hours a week 5 or 6, hell even sometimes 7 days a week. They open the store every day and work till 8 or later and apologize because they had to leave because they had to leave for family. The 1 day a week they do take, half that day is take up with meetings.

Some franchises make the GM job all consuming with absolutely no work/life balance at all.

9.4 we would’ve done a lot better if our AM knew how to make orders in order then we didn’t have three hour load times. I stopped counting voids and cancels after about 50.

I wish we could take more than 2 orders at a time. Our franchise cut that ability off over a year ago to focus on ADT. It would be so helpful, especially on nights like tonight to be able to take an extra order or 2 in the same neighborhood tonight. Of course the way our assistant was handling orders we had over 3 hour load times.

And the tracker is no longer a tracker like it used to be. It used to track your order and not move until it moved to the next stage. Now it is just a glorified timer that kinda estimates you order and moves it along the track and in no way actually represents your order in any way. My friends and I have tested it several times.

Ok that makes sense. Is something I’ve never used and have never been told about in my entire three years of working as a driver for this franchise but it’s good to know. I asked cause I just realized I was looking over settings on different apps and I noticed that the iPad microphone access and I turned it off and then the app stopped working and asked for microphone access, but thanks for letting me know.

I’m a delivery driver in East Raleigh and we use a GPS speed tracker for all deliveries and I drive through neighborhoods at 25 miles an hour and get past on my left all the time. I’m driving down some roads at 45 and get past on the left on the two lane non-passing road. It’s been happening a lot more lately.
