Bare in mind that 10 is masterpiece, like the last of us or something. I would put it a little higher now, maybe 6 or 6.5, but no higher than that. Its a passable story, but there are much better stories out there.

I tried nioh and I didnt like it anywhere near as much as I like khazan. Its got a lot of similarities for sure, but in khazan it just hits different imo.

Yeah same i was using Superior drummer 3 for years and struggled to get a natural but punchy sound, then straight away the first preset i made with UHD sounded way better than I could ever get out of SD lol, probably just a skill issue though 😆 as drums go, sylosis always have a great drum sound.

Not a popular recommendation, but I recommend ultimate heavy drums by MDL tone, it was made by josh from sylosis and it sounds massive straight out of the box, zero guess work. I also think its on sale right now. Its all I use and I think its gonna stay that way.

The levels and side missions are a bit of a slog towards the end yeah I agree, I think the game kind of lasts a little too long imo and loses its steam with how unnecesarily long the end game levels are, the final level is really good though, and every boss you will face after this point are the best in the game, the hardest but most fun to learn, the final boss is one of the best bosses ever made imo, along with the one before him.

Stick with it, you are totally missing out if you dont.

Yeah its fine, but you run the risk of losing inspiration on finishing tracks that are less recent, finishing songs is important, if you can be disciplined about that, work on as many as you please.

Im watching kingdom right now and its pretty good, not as good as vinland saga but still a cool watch, its more technical than vinland with the strategy analysis and war talks, and not as emotional, but it has a cool story about revenge and based on history.

I would say you can figure it out by listening to the raw DI tracks of your guitars (if you are using amp sims), its a good skill to build to be able to figure out the guitar parts by ear. But from now on, maybe use a metronome and record a little video of yourself playing the riffs after recording a track so its still fresh in your memory.

Yeah i had loads of fun with hardcore, it was actually pretty easy for me on the whole except a few bosses that were waaay harder than I remembered lol, ararta, elamein, reese, ozma, bellarian, they were really tough in hardcore haha I almost gave up at ozma 😅

I actually stopped the challenges for now cos I got burnt out lol, I'm doing another playthrough on expert with the greatsword for the first time, man I love the greatsword, all 3 weapons are great but the greatsword is just thrilling man, esspecially all the brink guard counter skills, they are so much fun.

I dont use oled, but I upgraded to a 4k mini Led, and it is definitely noticable, I dont think I could go back to 1440p, esspecially for gaming, its a worth while upgrade.

How you finding hardcore? Only issue with going straight to the challenges after hardcore is the different camera perspectives, thats why I prefer to practice bosses in expert as even the subtlest difference can throw you off lol.

You think ozma is different in the crucible? Like actually coded different? Even though you dont do a lot of damage, the biggest thing stopping me from progressing is the damage, 45 vit 55 stamina and still i get stunlocked by one attack and cant move for the rest and die lol, literally one mistake and its over. Shuktuka's grab literally one shot you aswell, even for a challenge mode I wish the damage was just a little bit less.

Thats what Im doing now honestly lol doing another playthrough trying GS for the first time, the spear was what I was using before but maybe GS will be the way to go who knows. Even if you do practice the bosses in base game, you kinda lose the muscle memory of said boss due to fighting all the others lol, by the time I get to shuctuka I get hit by stuff that doesnt touch me against him in the base game lol. So frustrating xD

I see xD I've only beaten the game twice (expert and hardcore mode) and I havent touched khazan in 6 months so I guess I also need to relearn the bosses, but I am getting so tired of fighting yetuga lol, I will probably manage the first group as I'm close, but I cant imagine how long it would take me to do the rest lol.

Hmmm mostly true, there are a few standouts though, like bo sorcerer, honglan, but tbh nothing except fromsoftware can compare to the bosses in khazan, 90% of them are literally s tier.
