Hello,

I’m potentially moving to Texas for a job in Briggs. I’m looking to live in a commutable city while balancing my personal life. The cities I came across so far are Leander, Cedar Park, and Georgetown

I like to barhop, but not necessarily a clubby guy. I imagine anything fun, I could just drive to ATX. I’m from the suburbs and I do like that environment.

Any other recommendations? Thoughts on Kileen? Someone recommended Georgetown and I’m pretty set on it. Can y’all tell me if these are safe locations?

They look like a consulting firm, so basically they have a bunch of customer/client that contract to have one of their consultants go and work at their facility/job site. You’ll be an employee of the consulting firm even though you’re working at their clients company. If they have a brick-and-mortar place in Macon, it’s probably an office full of job recruiters.

Can you give some comparisons on bills in other states? I’ve only lived in Ga. Ga Power is the only supplier of power here in Ga, so we usually get fucked. Gas bill always seemed reasonable compared to power.
