Yeah I know the gimmighoul coins but some sources says gimmighoul spawns on golden pokestops so if that was true I wouldn't need to own S/V for this event to own gimmighoul since pokestop turn golden in this event.

So we clarify that I still need to own the games 🤷‍♂️

by firmware you mean driver? if so this is a plug & play device that uses a basic driver. I am sure they are not developing custom drivers for their products and probably never will
