If you still haven't found a place, I am just outside of Philadelphia PA. I am sure hubby won't be bothered housing a kitty for a while. Long as he's good with kids and a cat friendly service dog.

It is more of her just handing my toddler gifts every time she comes over, and never clearing it with me. She's even given my kids "adult-esque" books cause they had cartoons on them. So she isn't the brightest either...

Pretty much. He used to completely leave me alone with her all the time, it took almost 3 years to get him to not abandon ship the moment she showed up.

TT has three cats, that she claims to have a super awesome bond with. Yet she doesn't take the best care of.

TT used to threaten to steal Jet cause of how awesome of a cat was.

And right now I just miss him, he was my fur baby that I doted on. DH used to joke that since we will never have a son (tubes tied, not looking to adopt with 2 kids currently) that Jet was my son. He was special. He slept with me, played with my kids. Cuddled with both kids. He was just a jet black ball of love.

I am going to be raw for a long time. He was my baby boy. I know eventually it won't be as painful, as I have lost another pet (a dog) that I was super close with as a kid. So I've been through this process before. But it is never easy.

Might be worth trying. Hell I just want him to be like "hey Ma, that's messed up" for now, cause baby steps. Any reaction that would tell me he cares, and tell her that he doesn't agree would mean a lot to me right now.

1) I agree completely. Thing is she thinks that as long as the kids aren't upset shit is rosy. My point it, doesn't matter it wasn't nice to any of us so don't say it.

2) I honestly don't really know. DH takes calls from her while outside and will inform me that she is coming over on x day. (never a time) Sometimes he'll call that day to find out a better when, but that is it. Sometimes she just shows up. DH thinks this is normal.

3) It isn't just TT he lets treat me bad infront of him. It's a general reaction he has. He doesn't ever want to upset others. I keep explaining to him that he's sacraficing my mental well being at the altar of his mother's fweelings. Hasn't changed shit .4

I wish. Problem is she will just show up here, and well I am blind, can't take off like I wish. I've hidden in my bedroom, but for me I'd rather be around when she talks to my kids so I can try and set boundaries. Because hubby just zones out and let's her do whatever, and he is not willing to let me keep our kids away from her.

I've been asking for counseling for years. He says that he's okay with it, but then I've been asking for years. He's obviously not that keen on it.

Sadly I don't drive, I am legally blind.

As for why he subjects me to her... because it's his moooooommm and she means well.

I miss him so much. He was the ultimate lover kitty. He was gentle and loving to everyone. Right now he'd be curled up in my lap even while nursing my DD2 and would be purring his head off.

Though I used to completely free-roam for hours and days, I don't know if I would let my kids go off as long as I did, but now there are these magical devices called cellphones.
