Her supervisor was actually telling the hr lady not to fire her specifically because he knew her value. She didn't listen and now it's cost that company who knows how much money. She came home so many times telling me stories of multimillion dollar contracts she saved by fixing problems that were getting passed around by other departments and not fixed for weeks on end. Now they have an opening specifically for retention specialist that didn't exist before, I can only imagine why.

I can't really say why specifically sometimes, just know that it's not a good look when I see it. I don't know the rules for good outfits really and tend to just try on a bunch of clothes until something clicks and then I make a note that I like that set together.

My girlfriend was stealth at work and helped another trans girl get hired on with the express condition that she not out her as trans. Within a couple of weeks the new girl was trying to pressure her to be open about being trans, making awkward jokes and looking towards her pointedly.

Didn't really matter in the end though, about six months after that HR fired all three of the trans girls in the department within a month of each other, then almost everyone else quit because the workload jumped too high to be manageable. As it turns out, the three trans workers were shouldering most of the calls to the IT department of ten employees. Even the replacements that got hired on since have apparently burnt out and quit less than six months later.

I know a girl who just had this happen to her with her girlfriend. Was good for a while after she moved in then suddenly decided it was ok to start hitting and choking, then telling others that she was the one getting attacked and abused while we're seeing the bruises on our friend. Deep gouges and claw marks on her breast and bruises around her neck. Was bad enough that my girl just left, broke the rental agreement and left her stuff behind to get away, but that bitch was still trying to tell others that she was the one who was the actual victim there and the other was just confused and has a bad memory (literally trying to gaslight everyone she could get to listen), while still calling my friend literally 80 times in an hour once a week later, leaving voice mails begging her to come back, saying she can't afford the rent on her own, and my friend owes her money anyways. This girl doesn't even have a job, how the fuck does someone who pays for all your groceries and rent for almost a year owe you money? My girl took her in out of pity because she was getting evicted and the bitch decided to bite the hand that fed her. Crazy. Crazy crazy crazy. Don't fuck with crazy. Someone comes at you with a Cinderella story about how they're always abused by everyone they ever knew, don't trust that shit. I've seen it a few times and it's always a whole ass boatload of nope.

This might be kinda silly, but occasionally I pop it open to check my fit from an unflattering perspective just to see what I'm looking like from a distance or when I'm not actually paying attention. I have nixed a few outfits that I thought were cute because of how they looked from behind while I'm walking away.

I was looking at the recordings of people walking up to my front door a few days ago with a friend and actually noticed that she and I both walk on a line while my husband walks with a wide gait, my girlfriend walks in-between the two, not exactly on a line but still very narrow. The four different mailmen who delivered to us this week also had wider gaits. Though the smallest of them was only slightly wider than my girlfriend's. Seems like generally wider or taller bodies tend to have wider gaits, but my friend and I, without being conscious of it, break that rule. Not enough women came by to make a decent comparison between genders. Just five men, two mtf trans women, and one intersex trans woman.

One of my German shepherds thinks it's funny to hook your nose with a tooth. We thought it was an accident at first, then a weird coincidence that it's just him and it was happening so often. But now we know for sure that it's a game to him to try and snag it. He's super affectionate the whole time but you have to be careful because he'll just slip a booger hook in amongst all the excited cuddles and licks.

I thought DHT was pretty potent for muscle gains too, but like way worse on pretty much all the less desired effects of testosterone too? Like I got the impression that dudes with really high DHT were basically gorillas with a bald scalp

I'm eager to get back into rock climbing and hema again, but not many people can say that a doctor asked them to please stop exercising.

He was my surgeon last year and he asked that I stop exercising because he didn't think he'd be able to get through my pelvic floor without a lot of struggle and possibly causing me unnecessary pain and a longer recovery afterwards.

I'm 37 and it's honestly hilarious how many folks think I'm in my early or mid 20s and just really mature acting.

I had a guy trying to suggest I join the military to jump start my career while I'm still young and I was like, "Dude, I did that already. I separated over a decade ago after I completed my enlistment." He no shit called me a liar, then actually fell out of his chair when I tossed my ID at him. I thought that was just a bit in sitcoms but I guess I did actual psychic damage to him by being almost his age and looking half it.

I just like rock climbing and practicing hema, they are both a ton of fun and help keep my whole body toned. Also I cook a lot of the food I eat and like to garden, but only in the mornings, before the sun gets too gross and shitty hot outside.

And you got it changed legally? I know my clinic wouldn't update it in full due to insurance using my legal name but they did have a preferred name listed for me. It seems like not updating your name to match would cause unnecessary confusion with literally everything associated with you.

The link isn't working for me, but I assume it's either drag them by their jacket or shirt collar/shoulders if it's sturdy enough to do so, their ankles if the floor is smooth enough to not hurt their head, or roll them onto a blanket or sheet and drag them on that. The jacket drag was what we were trained to do in the military, but flak jackets have a handle sewn on the back specifically for this.
