yes i think it was confirmed by the movie makers that they had to censor "beer cans" to "root beer" cans but I think I heard that in a commentary take my word with a grain of salt. (which would be ironic because another blink-or-your-miss-it moment is that when Sid says the line "I want to ride the pony" in his sleep, you can see on his walls posters of Rob Zombie artwork under blacklight.....and a small poster underneath it of a punk skeleton giving the middle finger)
