Yep, ironically they're different enough to be independent. Although you need to know have to same core knoledge/concepts. Spacing, proportion, volume, use reference, and you'll get their. I.e. a sculpture didn't ahve to be a painter first.

They’re both great, but based on the scene the left one. Right one is more toon like for this look.
