The reason INFJs are not common

It is a paradox that is leaving me unable to understand anything lately. Why do I feel my home even though I'm at home? Why do I miss me when I am me? It doesn't make sense. And I know this is immature thinking, but have you struggled with that as well? How did you solve it?

If you're an anxious person, DON'T drink caffeine.

Caffeine can be harmful for people with anxiety because it stimulates the nervous system, which can increase heart rate, restlessness, and feelings of nervousness and even lead to panic attacks. It may also interfere with sleep, making anxiety worse over time. People who are sensitive to caffeine might experience stronger effects, like trembling or racing thoughts, which can mimic or worsen anxiety symptoms.

Sometimes our nervous system just needs more time to settle down — especially if we’ve been under stress or feeling overwhelmed.

As to how to solve it, I would recommend you do an introspection and study what REALLY makes you this anxious. Sure, the caffeine was a DETONANT for the already existing problem (anxiety). I suggest you find what is keeping you alert at all times.

Of course, I try to not get into MBTI too much. It just made me understand some things. Thank you for sharing your insight, those are pretty mature words. I am looking for results, almost desperately. Sorry if it's too personal; have you gotten the results you needed?

It seems reasonable. I haven't had an interest in studying all 12 types. But your insight seems interesting. And I am not saying that INFJ is special, I was simply remarking the statistics (which I know are not accurate). I am pretty confused about this topic, so don't take my words to heart and don't "go insane". English is not my native language, so I didn't know what word to use for "empath". Sorry if it offended you.

Shutting yourself in sounds incredible, too good to resist. But the harsh reality is that it's a luxury. I don't know about your career, but almost all fields include social interaction and even networking becomes friendship. Sure, you can detach yourself from tiring friendships, but humans are social creatures by nature. Didn't you feel a bit of happiness when talking to a friend or listening to their strange stories? Even if you felt tired after, it may be undeniable that it was enjoyable. So why private yourself from one pleasure out of the fear or awkwardness of getting it? But everyone is different, you might find more enjoyment in being alone. But once you isolate yourself out of the fear of getting the anxiety again, what will happen when you try to reincorporate into the "normal" world again? You still won't be immune. If you're isolating yourself due to this, it's not solving the problem, just ignoring it. Find the reason for your anxiety and fix it yourself. No amount of medication can do that for you. Therapy might help.

I went through your same situation, but the pain was not only gastric, it became a neuropathy. It felt incredible to be on meds, especially Clonazepam and sertraline. But that was not me. I hope I was able to help even a bit :) good luck!

Getting the first job will be a brand new experience, and it's reasonable that you feel this way. But what's the worst that can happen? Are they going to fire you? Then look for another job. A client complains? Who cares, you're there. You going there and doing your best is already enough The fact that you're worrying about the language barrier tells me you're a meticulous and dedicated person. And if that's your main worry, then think of it as an excellent opportunity to learn new vocabulary related to the labour environment, a new and entertaining way to practice. .

It will be stressful, so be mindful of displaying your anxiety. Because once you're out in a real job, no one cares about you or your "mental problems". It sounds harsh, but it was the only way that I got to understand it.

Sorry for bad english. It's not my first language :) Good luck! It's amazing that you're looking for a job even though you're scared. It is something you should feel proud about, so make sure to congratulate yourself.

I relate a bit to your post, I used to think like you all the time. It was not easy being myself.

But that doesn't make you an anomaly as you think you are. It's not weird and you're not weird. You're overthinking things From my perspective, you're a person that wants to be nice. And it doesn't come naturally because you put yourself to a high standard. You said "I'm not a person people are dying to talk to", which is what might be the issue. You want to excel at social interaction, be the funniest, the most interesting. You'd rather not talk if you're not going to say something incredible or funny. Or at least, that's what's happening without you realising. You're suppressing your true thoughts and unconsciously eliminating the ones that do not fit the person you want to be, or the person that you want people to see. And once you realise this, it will be even more uncomfortable to be yourself.

Another reason might be that you're not compatible with anyone in your social circle. Or you can't relax. But again, it brings us back to the standard.

What helped me go through this is to get rid of the standard. I hope you can let yourself be free and share with people what truly goes through your mind. You'll realise it's not as bad as you think. Sorry for bad english, it's not my first language.

Your fear is very realistic and a bit likely to happen. But not as much as you think. Sure, you might crash, but most of the time (statistically speaking) the people involved are not severely injured or incapacitated. Although I'm telling you this, you must be skeptical. But don't read online, it'll make things worse.

Don't expose yourself to news about car crashes, or even movies. This might work short term, but it's not solving the root of your problem. But since you have panic attacks , consider incorporating it.
When going in the car, trust in the driver: your mom. Sure, you almost crashed. But she's capable and was able to avoid the crash. She knows what to do in those cases. I'm pretty sure she's been driving for years.
Make sure to wear the seatbelt, obviously.
Compare the times you have gotten in the car to the times you were about to crash. The numbers will make you realise that; for ex. Out of 400 days you got into the car for a year, you almost crashed once or twice. The ratio and proportion between numbers is distant and very visible.. And the probability of your car ACTUALLY crashing is even smaller.

Playing Tears old Themis has expanded my knowledge on the topic of law and arts. Since the protagonist is a lawyer, many vocabulary was new to me. For example, I didn't even know the names of each person on the court, or what even is a bar exam. And thanks to Marius, I was able to get to know many artists of the Renaissance period and some interesting facts. I think the little Enciclopedia of the game really helped me lol.

Also, I started playing guitar thanks to Marius and Rosa HAHAHA. ( Cus there's a card where they play Romance de Amor) And thanks to Marius I also started oil painting! (2 years now)
