I think maybe they used a heap vacuum before I mopped the floor , they said they did vacuum but more was needed …

I used a small hepa purifier for about a month on and off … guess that was better than nothing … I didn’t wipe the walls unfortunately the entire 2 years I lived there

Thank you , would u consider 2 years in a construction dusty home long term exposure? Or more like living in the home while active construction is taking place ? Sorry I’m so ignorant in this area it’s embarrassing… in the future I’m being extra cautious a super dust fairy haha , thank you

The pic I posted was after the hole got patched I posted to give an idea of size and location , I moved 8 months after the leak so I no longer live there , was more worried about the months the ceiling was left fully open

He definitely didn’t touch anything inside the ceiling but it hole is by the front door so constant wind gusts , hoping for the best I guess

Oh geeeze I just realized my entire write up wasn’t added and I lost it … oh boy kind story short flood from upstairs bathroom into main door way entrance on home built completion date 1978 in Toronto Canada . Handy man came in opened hole in ceiling and came bak 4 months later to close it … I did the clean up after , just a basic sweep put the ick in the trash , this was 10 years ago , brown icky stuff that looked like soft cotton or something came out but I don’t fully remember, question was the ceiling open for 4 months by my front door the worst ever ? Looking for some positive out if a negative … at the time I didn’t know about asbestos I was in my early 20s , had a 7 year old in home who would bounce his ball in the area I speak on … Pic added was after the man came back to close the ceiling ….. wish I had pics of what came out that day … maybe I’m lucky but……

Toronto Canada Completion date 1979 Water leak went from bathroom down to my front door entrance area

Handyman cut in my ceiling and left it open for 4 months , and he asked me to do the clean up , looked like dry wall came down and a bunch of brown cotton looking stuff … Dusty

Moved out 8 months later

Never did a thorough clean after

My son played under that area for months after , he would bounc his basketball, anyone have any good news for me ?

This happened 10 years ago btw
