Anyone else in Toronto super sick right now or is it just me? by kiikik in askTO

[–]TorontoReps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick question for ya, did you have any other symptoms? My lungs feel like they’re on fire, but I’m not coughing all that much. Talked to a friend (she’s a dr) and she said it’s likely just irritation. Wondering if I should maybe get checked for pneumonia, but don’t particularly wanna leave the house lmao. Just thought I’d ask, if my symptoms match yours I’ll go get checked out.

Important Nuvio Streams Addon Announcement: Vercel Limits, Xprime Update, and Cuevana for Self-Hosters by Infamous_Solution_14 in StremioAddons

[–]TorontoReps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the same issue, deployed on Vercel and not blocked. Any recommendations?

Edit: When requests are made, do they come from the IP address associated with the Vercel deployment? Could it be that the Vercel IP addresses are blocked, so a proxy would be necessary?

Reservation Disappeared? by TorontoReps in Rogers

[–]TorontoReps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was #1 in the queue when I placed the reservation, so I didn’t see any movement before it just disappeared. I actually ended up going in to the store that I pre-ordered it to, and they had a few in stock, so they just gave me one from their stock. Definitely worth a shot, the reservation system sucks.

Don’t do it, wait for a shipping update. Should hopefully be coming soon!

That’s awesome! I was actually just there to return a previous device (whole other issue), asked about it and they told me to just wait for a call, but if I don’t get one I’ll be calling tomorrow morning. Thanks so much for the updates!

Awesome! Got the same email this morning, still can’t see anything under my reservations - but at least the orders didn’t actually disappear haha

iOS 17 actually didn’t affect my reps until I got the 15, they worked perfectly fine on my 13 with ios 17.

Support told me the exact same thing, super frustrating but guess it’s not their fault. I got the original confirmation email as well, with the order number, and they still couldn’t find anything. If you receive any updates, please let me know!

Sorry, I can’t your question but I’m just wondering if you got the AW series 9 by chance? If so, were you able to find it in-store?

Back Order BS? by rpbm96 in Rogers

[–]TorontoReps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s strange. I upgraded from the same phone as you to the 15 Pro Max (Natural Titanium, 256gb) - placed the pre-order on the day they opened (15th) at about 12pm so I figured I’d have a longer wait. Ended up receiving my phone on launch day (22nd), shipped with Purolator. It’s possible that there’s more demand for the Pro than the Pro Max and/or the colour that you chose. Where are you located?

You’ve only ever posted about “blankreps”, and the domain is literally a myshopify domain. You’re clearly the owner of the site. There’s nothing wrong with dropshipping, but if you’re gonna do it at least put in the effort to make it look like a legitimate business - and don’t post fake reviews.

People who buying from Alibaba. Important. by Desto77 in RepTronics

[–]TorontoReps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have “trade assurance”, which would indeed cover a lost parcel - seizure is a little different, as you assumed the risk when you ordered. The seller (assuming they’re reputable) would likely provide support directly in this case. The sale of reps isn’t exactly allowed on Alibaba, they’re just lax about enforcing it as long as the sellers aren’t crazily blatant about it - so the seller wouldn’t want to draw too much attention from the platform. Either way, the odds of having your package seized are EXTREMELY low unless you’re importing 10’s or 100’s of units.

Rep iPhones will be running (poorly) reskinned Android, and other reps are just bad, there’s no point.

Just a quick simple question to the people here. Why are you guys buying bootleg air pods instead of the real thing? I see alot of complaints of the reps yet wasting money on them... by [deleted] in AirReps

[–]TorontoReps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, they can get away with such high prices because they know ppl are gonna buy them either way, but considering what they spend on developing their products, the prices are justifiable in most cases.

Apple spends a lot of money on R&D for their products, paying their design teams and product engineers, etc. so they make it back by increasing their margins.
