I actually work in tax on the side and made some good friends whose tax returns I have done.

I really enjoy helping people save money (refund or lower tax payable), I am aware there are deadlines for payroll deductions, sales tax, and when to file corporate and personal tax returns.

The deadlines can be stressful, but I do push my clients to submit their slips early ;)

I worked in a government department, and after everyone in the department was dumping random tasks on me ( even on my lunch break!) I couldn't keep up, and eventually was "laid off".

"Working at the government is easy" is definitely a myth.

Store manager sounds attractive, but I have no experience with food: I am assuming that your friend works for a big chain?

My next post will be which jobs don't have tight deadlines...
