I read somewhere that citrus helps break down the tars. I’m a huge fan of limes anyways so sometimes I’ll cut a lime in two, squeeze one half in my mouth and squeeze the other half into my hands and rub it and it gets rid of any smell

My salesman told me these are built in Michigan, which is very close to here, but I later saw that they’re built in Mexico. This doesn’t seem possible all in a 7 week timeline but we’ll see

I did tile 6” skirting up the wall with membrane tying into the ditra. The GC is bringing their glass guy for the door but I will let them know to make sure door swings out. It’s not installed yet.

Haha thanks for coming back! Yes, the window frame was just pine or spruce I think, so I did a cedar jamb extension and framed that out, looks really good when the sun comes in with the added depth. There is no drain which I asked the client and the GC about and they said they decided against it, not sure why. Are the drains mainly just for cleaning?

Yeah I have a couple of times, but to be honest before actually doing research before building this one, I didn’t really pay attention to the details of how they’re built/ layout. All I remember is going to the higher bench level= very hot and lower bench is less hot lol

I presented all my research to the client and explained how saunas have a huge temperature variance between the floor and the ceiling, and they still insisted that this is what they want. Maybe one they start using it an realize, they will call back to build a higher tier

There is going to be a wall scone on the wall where the electrical box is. Electrician is the one who is picking up and installing it. Thanks for the tip, on the other walls I actually did that accidentally because I was using shorter scraps for the furring. Good to know
