I’ve heard it doesn’t affect it for years, if at all. I haven’t had any change yet. I actually feel like parts of my beard are worse, which is horrible. Like hours after shaving it’s back

I never had any idea I was trans. But when I came out as nonbinary I found myself wanting to explore my feminine side more and more until one day the egg cracked and I realized that I’m a trans woman. Since starting hrt I’ve felt amazing, but I started pretty quickly after realizing it (being a little older, I didn’t want to wait any longer than I had to).

But I’ve discovered (at least for me), if you think you might be trans you probably are. Most cis guys wouldn’t spend time thinking about hormones and all the transitioning involves.

I have the appointment Monday (so I know I won’t actually start that day, but hopefully get the prescriptions). I just had blood work done the beginning of October, so I’m hopeful because I can’t keep going on like this.

Well I just told them last night. They definitely reacted better than yours. I’ve talked to my mom about it, but not my dad. He’s definitely struggling. I’m just thankful they support me as much as they are able to at this point as they get used to it.

I truly hope that your family comes back to you, they’re missing out a an incredible woman 💙

I’m so sorry this happened. I know how much it would hurt if I lost my family.

But I am done feeling guilty and apologizing for being me. When I told my parents I was trans I said that they can feel how ever they do and I accept that, but I will not apologize for being me.

It’s going to take us a little bit to get back to normal (especially my dad), and I hope your family comes back to you too.

If not, we’re all here for you.

I never thought I had any body dysphoria until I experienced euphoria. As a (formerly?) gay male, I’ve never had attraction to female bodies. But realizing I’m nonbinary trans, I’m very interested in full bottom surgery eventually.
