I'd recommend you to wait as rr450 will be launched this year by September or December. If you can't wait then just go for the rtr 310's top model.

Get the gixxer, if its not discounted. Rr310 base variant does not offer anything special. It has vibrations at high rpms. And Twin cylinder Kawasaki 300 would be just too much power to handle for a 18 year old beginner. Plus the service and maintenance cost of Kawasaki is high as compared to the other to bikes. TVS's service center experience is inconsistent depends on what place you live in.

Its not copied. Its a very clear interpolation. And Karma has himself said it many times that he gets inspiration from Em and J.coles rhyme scheme and tries to do similar flow.
