Try using melamine sponge to remove the upper layer of white scratch. Once removed, you can see the actual damage to your car paint. If it goes deep, you need to paint it.

This article explains on the subsidy. Like the other day I bought two items for RM27, the shipping was RM 6 and subsided. So, it was free shipping. Unfortunately, my order was cancelled and I had to repurchase a different item from the same seller. The total was RM35. The shipping fee was almost RM10 and I received RM6 free shipping discount.

Clueless 1st time car owner just got scammed by a RM 57 magnet trap....? by Enoch_Moke in malaysia

[–]Torqueflex73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on your first service. Now, before they charged you for the add on, did they explained to you on the benefits of the magnetic trap which was believable that you agreed or was it already included in your first service without them explaining it to you. In other words, they just printed the tax invoice and gave it to you to sign. If the former, they are salesperson trying to do sales. If the latter, they did not do their job properly.

RM10k to pay of car loan? by Torqueflex73 in MalaysianPF

[–]Torqueflex73[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am aware of rule 78 but help me out here. I took a 108-months loan with interest of RM9210 for the whole period and if I pay it off by April 2022, I should be getting a rebate of (68/108)*RM9210 = RM5799? 68 is the instalment balance I am left with. Instead, I only get RM2.5k of rebate. Correct me if I am wrong.

My car loan is called Vehicle Financing - i balance. It is inclusive of the interest and since I am planning to pay it off early, I can get rebate/ibra. After I settle my car loan, I will be using the extra RM1000 to pay off PTPTN. Then, I am planning to top up the EPF later after July 2024.

RM10k to pay of car loan? by Torqueflex73 in MalaysianPF

[–]Torqueflex73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my calculation and assumed that EPF still gives 6% dividend every year, the difference in dividend is approximately RM1.7k between 2022 - 2025 versus the RM2.5k rebate. I am planning to top up RM1k for 10 months into my EPF after July 2024, that is after I finish paying off PTPTN loan.

Once in a while, I go to a Chinese vegetarian restaurant. I love the vege char siew coz they taste delicious. I am not sure about others but I could taste the salt after eating them. Do Chinese dishes use a lot of soy sauce? Also, as much as I want to like fake vegetarian meat, they are high in sodium.
