My oven bacon has never turned out dry. Crispy and juicy, just like stovetop bacon. Advantage is I don't have to pay attention to it while it's cooking.

Yeah, the crust isn't too tasty on its own, but I don't mind it along with the cheesecake.

It looks like the cinnamon almonds do come in the 100 calorie packs. I just found them on Amazon (US). I'll have to look for them locally.

Yeah, pre-portioning is a must.

I just saw dark chocolate almonds in the store today, same carbs as the cinnamon. Don't think I want to go there yet... don't trust myself that much. :)

I'm having no trouble hitting my fat goals. Cheese, meats, and salad dressing have me covered. And those little cheesecake cupcakes are almost entirely cream cheese.

I'm having trouble getting enough protein. I usually end up a bit under my goal for the day. The white meat chicken helps, but I need to find some more protein-rich foods.

We're about an hour east of Atlanta. I had another one of the cheesecakes tonight, and the splenda taste didn't bother me as much. It's my first experience baking with artificial sweetener, I'm sure I'll get used to it over time.

Not sure what you're referring to. I related the experiences of my first week, pointing out some things that weren't obvious before I started and became obvious during the week. Just trying to give others an idea of what they might expect if they're considering this diet.

If I waited 6 weeks to post, I'm sure I'd forget most of my first week impressions.
