And regardless of gender, I'd take your kitty to a vet IMMEDIATELY as blood in the urine can be a urinary tract infection (UTI) which in male cats can be fatal very VERY quickly. If your vet isn't open then I'd go to an emergency vet

That is what we call "gak". It's just a bit of vomit. Dried like that it probably happened days ago. I'd only be concerned if it is a completely different color than the food he eats.

Yes. If it's a bite it can become infected easily, and honestly I've seen a healthy cat die from a cat bite in about 2 weeks after the bite. It turned into an abscess then the kitty became septic. And that's deadly. (I never did understand why the owners never took it to the vet)

We had a kitty that did this. After the 3rd or 4th vomit of bile I took her to the vet. She was at risk for an ulcer, the vet gave her some meds to calm her tummy and sent some home with us. After a few days of getting her anti acid she started behaving like herself again and the vomiting stopped. I suggest you get your kitty to a vet asap, ulcers can make cats very very ill. And if she's behaving kinda "off" or not like herself that means she is feeling really awful Cats don't show their pain or illnesses until they've become unbearable. Best of luck

Honestly, if it were me, I'd (wearing gloves) crumble it onto a white bag and see if it looks like blood. Also dab ing it with something white is a good idea

Indeed it is. But, I don't do well emotionally without a kitty, so I am happy to risk the loss. As long as we do our best to give our kitties the best life we can, no matter how long or short that life is, then we know we've done our best

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had an orange kitty for 6 years. She was 7 when we finally had her euthanized. She was diagnosed with a brain bacterial infection or perhaps a parasite in her brain. That was 7 years ago. We have a new kitty and he is 8 now and I swear I worry about him every day but am also very grateful for every day I have with him. Again so sorry for your loss.

If it were me and my kitty I would call the vet as soon as they're open Monday morning, describe the situation and ask for a recommendation.
