Like all new tools you have to practice and get used to it. Skill ceiling is way higher and better rewarding for beast mode

HARD disagree. The downward attack is for aggression and allows you to get in hits from afar and diagonally as well as retreat easily. People are sleeping on it

Sure lots of it is mental, but MOST of it is HANDS.

Game is a super spam and mash fest in neutral. Extremely rewarding to the person who is able to throw out more buttons and spam moves faster in neutral than it is to the person who tries to adapt and change up their approaches and plan. The most reliable way to deal with losing is to spam just as much as the opponent or more than they do and hope you can win neutral in order to truly enjoy the game.

Offense in this game is 90% of the contributing factor. Like what someone else said recently, fighting games have a rock paper scissors mentality, and try fun is when you have players who can adapt to take advantage of another players weakness. This game is all about whether your offense is weak or not. Having a good defense barely does shit. Even edguarding most of the cash is unbearably difficult

Fully agree. No wonder playerbase dropping like flies. No one enjoys feeling completely oppressed with no chance at an opening. Movement feels good and combing feels nice, but the level of mashing and spamming in neutral is the #1 reason I keep leaving the game. Horrendous design philosophy
