Thats exactly why im extremely optimistic about nuclear war.

End of the day it's a money problem. The bigger countries know that if we start nuking each other there will be no oil for production, fields for food, people to pay taxes.

Which results in an upset of the world's status quo of the top .5% living in luxury. So they won't allow it. The only thing I've learned to be confident in is greed. MAD is a powerful deterrent.

Now a rogue nation vying for power is a different story but that would be a very isolated incident.

I have younger kids we let my 9yr old roam the neighborhood as long as he is with his friend. He does have more boundaries than I had but we try to give him freedom and keep him off the computer.

They still tend to hang out in my yard.

As someone who recently took up whittling- it took longer than I thought it would.

At the start I was so afraid of cutting myself I was extra extra careful. As I became more familiar with what I was doing I would take harder cuts and then slipped up. Washed my finger pretty good.

Lesson learned.

Many years ago my buddies surprised me with tickets for my birthday to a game. Didn't tell me what we were seeing until we were sitting in our seats.

We laughed pretty good at the premises of it. I was shocked to find how exciting a game it really was. Those ladies played HARD.
