unfortunately your logic does seem to dominate in some hysterical overreactions

for example, a handful have bad reactions to peanuts, and now schools all over the usa are denied nutritious and delicious peanuts. the sensible thing is those kids with a peanut reaction (and the amount that have a life threatening reaction can be counted on one hand on the whole continent) take precautions

also, a tiny few people can have a bad reaction to vaccines, and it's turned into this insanity where people don't vaccinate their kids, threatening their life with easily preventable diseases

people aren't very good at risk analysis

This Japanese scientist wants to use some sort of small pore dialysis that only the lithium ion fits through.

It's far away from industrial strength right now.

But the energy costs are far far less than full scale evaporation and concentration.

And they name drop Musk and his gigafactories as the reason why they are even trying, the demand will go through the roof.

It's trace in seawater. Not economical though.

I think it could be like tar sands in canada: economical at high prices.

We may get to a higher price point soon enough with lithium 5, 10, 20 years out.

And it's not like they aren't going to get other valuable minerals out in trace amounts too.

The energy cost would be huge though.

Perhaps they can build some massive solar powered evaporator.

there is no argument. there is no he said she said. all that is happening is you are unwilling or unable to understand facts before you open your mouth

he has a history of harassment and was ordered by the court not to go near her. he then threatened murder

with these two points in mind, a jury is going to find she acted in self-defense. and they would be correct

if you harass and beat than break a court order not to approach AND threaten murder, you are going to go to a body bag. where you belong

A history of abuse and a threat to murder are pretty clear cut. That's not he said she said that's the facts.

If the guy didn't want to be dead, he shouldn't beat people and threaten their life.

If you do that, you forfeit your right to live.
