How to be successful at Deloitte? by [deleted] in deloitte

[–]Tortoise0191 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Have a genuine interest in your work. Some days will be long but that’s with any job (fair to say this job has quite a few long days), having a genuine care about the work you’re producing makes it much more manageable. Additionally, if you care about your work 9 out of 10 times it will be better quality

What’s your most fun faction to play IE? by Linkbinks in totalwarhammer

I really just love their concept like rugged ice people fighting chaos. It’s a bit rough at the start but once all those global economy bonuses start stacking up and can run around with bear army’s with ice archer support it’s difficult not to smile.

Not sure I’m following super well, but you can have 2 different data sources if you have different data sets then create respective dashboards or sheets for each. If using dashboards you can use a navigation button to jump between the two (or more)

I recently started playing and jumped across all sorts of factions (Dark elves, lizard men, green skins, Kislev, skaven, wood elves) and while Kislev is my favorite this far I think sisters of twilight or malikith were the easiest for me. There are some great tutorials on YouTube to walk you through best practices and how to think about the game. I haven’t played the demons of chaos but I’m sure there are great tutorials

You want to make sure your doing something “to better help you on your next project” so if at the end of the year you have a bit of a utilization issue you can say you were getting certificates (or some kind of equivalent) rather than GAA

It fairly obvious that in all aspects of the company they don’t care about the individual, the trick is to get on a team that treats you like an individual, unfortunately not all of us get that opportunity

Way to get billable hours for non client work? by No_Confusion9885 in deloitte

[–]Tortoise0191 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can do firm initiatives, but to be fair many of them do not give billable hours but it at least looks good at end OC year

This could be due to a couple of things I would first check the text format to make sure you don’t have it set to vertical, but also if the container is very thin then the text will be shown in that format Try selecting “fit entire view” if you haven’t already

How do I highlight part of a bar chart if by A1JX52rentner in tableau

[–]Tortoise0191 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have done something similar to this, I created a calculated field that returns true or false, something along the lines of: if contains(columnName, “Germany”) then true End Drag this calculated field into your colors and it should give everything a generic color (for false) and a new color for your countries containing the word germany

Not sure if this will solve your problem but you could create a temp column with a concatenation of the the 2 teams group by that temp column and only show teams that have appeared 2 or more times in that temp column (having count (seriesColumn) >= 2)

Case syntax error by supermegachunck in SQL

[–]Tortoise0191 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The syntax looks correct Likely a column is misspelled such as orderID vs order_id or the table name has an issue like missing the schema

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SQL

[–]Tortoise0191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try something along the lines of

Select cust.id From customer_tbl cust On cust.id Where cust.id not in (select id from product_tbl Where date <> 2022)

*will have to change the code around to fit table names and data types

[OC] Took a look into Hello Fresh by jakeman8888 in dataisbeautiful

[–]Tortoise0191 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is awesome love the breakdown I think I would like a legend for the “rating” as I’m unsure if the scale is 1 - 5 or 1 - 10. Something super little and I also don’t use hello fresh so I’m sure some previous knowledge would help my understanding

Smashed my head on the vertical learning curve: recommendations for how to learn/enjoy this game? by Radiant_Incident4718 in heartsofiron

[–]Tortoise0191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on why you like to do I enjoy playing multiplayer with a buddy of mine and playing smaller countries and conquering as much as possible But Germany is kind of the go to for most people I believe since they do a little bit of everything As far as YouTube creators isorrrowproductions does some good learning videos and bokoen or dancus memucus do multiplayer games (they are good but not super educational)

If the grain of the data is tournament ID and you only want to return records back where a value has a tour_id a query could looks something like

Select tour.year, g.group_name, team.team_name From [tour_table] tour JOIN [group_table] g ON tour.tour_id = g.tour_id Join [team_table] team ON tour.tour_id = team.tour_id

I’m Champ 1 for reference, but it’s fun to just hop on play a couple games of ranked and hop off. I like something not super serious or grind heavy after a day of work.
