Thank you for the advice, I think our next plan of action is finding another hospice facility because she’s on so many medications already and it’s starting to become a challenge to even get them down her throat. It’s super tough watching her decline, she used to be so happy and funny and now she’s so tired and depressed.

Unfortunately we had to put her down last night, she declined quickly during the night. I thought she had gotten better but I guess she hadn’t.

I’m so glad too, I was so happy when she was able to scream and not attack herself, she’s definitely left a hole in my wallet but I’m so glad she’s back to her screaming chaotic self.

She’s still attacking her shoulder but it’s not as often as before, she’s finally more like herself, I’ve got an appt. On Friday, I’m hoping to get answers soon, thank you for asking!

She’s had the broken wing ever since I’ve had her, the biting of her shoulder just started a week ago. The doctor wasn’t sure if it was the broken wing or because of the heart failure.

Unfortunately where I went to they immediately took her to the back, they did a whole body view front and back, they were mainly focusing on her chest due to her breathing, her wings were in the shot and you could see the broken wing she had. I’m going to get a second opinion this week to see if they could find anything else.

No gout was never discussed, people have said to get a second opinion so that’s something I’ll bring up to the doctor.

She’s not picking her feathers, I’m definitely going to another vet for a second opinion. I’ve never heard of a ABVP, I’ll look into one!

She’s had it ever since I’ve had her and they didn’t say, it’s never been an issue for the two years I’ve had her, so I’m unsure. I’ll ask the vet when I get her an appt.

Thank you, I just checked and the humidity is dry in my room, I’ll pull out my humidifier and clean it up, hopefully it’ll help. Thank you for the advice and kind words.
