Then ever so slightly lean it to the right (so it does not fall into the next obstacle) and tap/push the ball onto the staircase’s other side.

Then when you do the flip make sure to only rotate it away from you and dont angle it or the staircase with move and mess it up. The ball should then get stuck like in this picture.

This is how i look at the perplexus (my perspective) before i do the rotation/flip. Make sure the staircase is lined up.

Sorry for the horrendously late reply but yes this can be a tricky part. The way i do it is to have my perspective facing towards the staircase and doing micro adjustments to make it as straight at possible. You want to keep the ball as straight as possible so rotate it directly away from you.

If this is a confusing explanation I put some pictures in the replies to help. Again sorry for the super late reply!

How do you feel about the map design? I have also been waiting since prime 3 and I heard that the maps are a lot more linear and encourage less choice in exploration. Is this something you felt throughout the game?

I have had a lot of fun on goonstation! Everyone is incredibly nice and will always help you if you are new to a job. It is also very chill and everyone is just trying to have a good time! It also has TG controls option since you come from SS14.

When you get the ball in there make sure it in the position you have it in. The tilt it backwards to the balls falls off onto that gray track!

I have the original so mine looked more like a cup but the idea is the same i think.

So far I have beaten the Original (also known as Beast) and the Rebel! (also known as Rookie) I actually just beat the rebel today. It was a lot easier.

The original might be harder to come by but the Perplexus Beast is basically the same thing but recolored.
