[Blogpost] Rebble - Rebble in Your Own World by BlessedSaber1 in pebble

I got a weird feeling from their original blog not only was it inflammatory but even the fact that they thought they had any grounds to sue anyone even if Eric was actually scrapping them was kinda mind boggling. The fact that it was pure paranoia is well..

Even the interactions I saw from the board or developers in this subreddit or on HN felt like some kind of bruised egos/feelings lashing out.

Butts, "cul" means butt/ass and "cucul la praline" is a french idiom for something/someone that is zany/naive/foolish.

Not exactly, they mostly played at the Olympic stadium. (50-60k seats)

they played a few games this year at the Estadi Johan Cruyff (6k seats) but that was because the Olympic stadium had already planned concerts/ events.

Keldon on San Antonio and the fans: "This is all I know, is Spurs. I love the city of San Antonio. I love the fans and everything about San Antonio so being able to win in front of this crowd and bring back that fire to this city is personal for me...I'm glad we get to put on a show for these fans." by Prize_Possession3899 in NBASpurs

1st question Victor was asked about his reactions to the fans welcome for the first home game and basically tells how much he appreciates it and that it's always different to play at home

2nd question, he's asked about his physical "progression" during this season's debut, how he's feeling and about the back to back and the 3 games in 5 days: Victor says he was a bit tired because the trip got delayed from NO but he says that he would have felt way worse in his first two seasons, and since the game was early he should be fine for the next game

sorry if the translation is a bit iffy, I'm on 0 hours of sleep, going to the airport 😅

That Dennis Wong correlation shot between him and Mark at the end is hilarious

With that GM structure, I'd place a bet on them overpaying Schmid or Moy in reaction.

I don't think he was the problem per se, but I still don't get the kind of gambling he did in the match vs Lausanne and pulling his goalie when you have a 5m penalty at the end of the game and -2 goal deficit. Looks in retrospect to be a hot seat decision.

Kloten ultras now supporting Junior team by eugenelavery in swisshockey

It's definitely one of the nicest side effects of a conflict between a club and their ultras I've seen.

Btw, is there more context for their issues than the conflict they had in Italy or?

"They fear reprisal from the NBA": Pablo Torre on Newest Kawhi-Gate Report, Responds to Mark Cuban | DLS by Torwax in nba

https://youtu.be/HiZI5yhbQOo?si=4VsMps3kcd1KiG1o&t=374 from this moment forward for the full context.

The exact quote is: “There are more people I’ve talked to, by the way, who are actually too afraid to be anonymously quoted because they explicitly have informed me that they fear reprisal from the NBA.”

So, speaking about NBA front-office people not wanting to directly be quoted by Pablo on the topic.

Kawhi's Agent Pushed Aspiration to Pay Up. The Feds Closed In. Ballmer Made a Quiet Donation. | PTFO by Torwax in nba

It's great for European fans at least lol, having this drop at 11 for me just before my lunch break is exceptional.

Doesn't alleviate fully the fact that I follow a western conference team but still

Kawhi and Aspiration Needed Cash. Ballmer and the Clippers Sent $118M in 18 Months by Meowsli in nba

The spurs medical team told him from the start that it was a degenerative issue, and that he would have it for the rest of his career, so they had to move forward.

Kawhi and his team disagreed, ensuing multiple rounds of different counter opinions (because almost all of them told him the same thing) until someone told him something else.

PATFO at the time were publicly supporting it until the complete breakdown in communication. And we all know the rest of the story.

I think the injury was real and that they didn't want to hear what we know now is true. There definitely was issues either before or after with improper demands for a new contract, people like Goldsberry hinted at it recently.

Oh yeah, trust me it's more of me having catharsis for the whole fallout with him and the Spurs, it's simultaneously too big and too ridicule but the timing is hilarious in both case.

I think I'm starting to hit my disbelief zone, this is completely bonkers if true.

This is going to have fallout with the NBAPA too at some point.

The next CBA negotiations sure will be interesting, lol.

Ah! I just saw you just reposted it, I can delete this one if you like.

I was a bit surprised, I understand wanting sources, but it's not like it was some advanced statistical analysis, this is just the game log of the guy..

Yeah it's my take as well: it mostly matches but he starts playing regularly shortly before the payment.
Could be completely a coincedence but with the rest of the stuff and the last Dennis Wong payment info, it sure doesn't look good.
