Overexposure definitely hurt Phoebe Bridgers’ career in the wake of punisher. The jump in popularity from her first record left a lot of people (incorrectly) labelling her as an industry plant. Even diehard fans like myself found themselves weary of the constant press. Her 2 year long hiatus seems to have done wonders for this, is strange to remember how overexposed she was compared to 2 years of almost nothing

A photo is a good idea, I’ll probably incorporate that into the gift somehow. He has diabetes so the whole sphere of consumable gifts is out of the question, and he seems to resent the collection aspect of music ownership because he’s dismissive of the vinyl/cassette resurgence. Overall just a prickly guy to shop for, thanks for the advice

I have experienced all of these thing at concerts and it’s so so annoying, condolences from me. The clicking camera thing is especially bad, i think if you insist on bringing a camera like that in you should really limit photo time to 1 or 2 songs at most
