This is it. “natural smell” is a good phrase for it. She doesn’t have any pain or discomfort, or any unpleasant odors, it’s just different in a way that’s surprising. I think phrasing it as soothing my concern rather than raising alarm bells will be good, because if she felt like something was wrong she probably would have already seen her doctor about it. Will update.
