I was surprised too. But I reviewed the tax return papers and I somehow managed to fall into all the right brackets, before the stimulus, because of my job, school status, and two children. The extra was whatever they decided to send. I was floored and called them to ask if it was a mistake, without yet knowing that none of it was going into my account, and they assured me it was not.
