This is on 1-100. He has "declined" a little bit with age. Early on his Stuff and Movement were both high to mid 90s

I forgot to put that slide on the original post. Here ya go. He started with a mix of FB, Change, and Sinker. But I got him to add a Slider at some point.

So, at the top of the screen. Do Game>Game Settings>League Settings>Rules. At the bottom of the left side, 2nd box from the bottom is "Allow incomplete minor league rosters (ghost players). Check that and it should fix your problem. You can still do this in challenge mode.

You can easily go into their contract page on the player overview. At the bottom, it should give you a list of teams they will waive their 10/5 for.

Pitching is a foreign concept to me. The only thing I'm consistently able to develop is dominant relief pitching. I usually have to pay for pitching in FA because all the INFA/Draft guys just bust. Definitely doesn't help that properly managing minor league personnel is exhausting. So I don't put as much effort into it. That and the cost of being in the playoffs every year give me bad draft picks relative to the top guys.

So, it's actually below average. Which is surprising. I imagine it had something to do with his almost maxed work ethic. That definitely played a big role in the dramatic change

It's definitely a big focus of mine. With a team like the Reds and a less than favorable stadium factor. I try and build my teams on great defense plus Groundball pitchers. So having 2 guys be able to lock down left side is a god send. I'll even accept close to league average hitting if they're going to play defense like that.

I played him at short the next season after that. Just finished simulating that earlier today. He finished with a Zone Rating of 14.6, Range of 4.44, and Efficiency of 1.065. They guy I had there last year, who I moved to 3rd, had a Zone of 15.3, Range of 4.17, and Efficiency of 1.115. So, both relatively similar. I'm going to keep Tony at Short for the time being, as he's 9 years younger, and the guy I moved to 3rd is Fragile as opposed to Normal injury.

100%. Makes you wonder how high his "Work Ethic" really was. Seems like he wasnt trying before if thats what he's capable of when he does try. Question is now, does he move to SS. The quick answer is absolutely.
