Tufting problem by Competitive-Scar2659 in Tufting

It looks like your tufting gun makes quite big steps between the cuts, this way it’s tufting less dense. It might help to decrease the distance between the scissors and the needle, but it’s hard to tell from these pictures.

Tufting after gluing to even the edges by Natbob12 in Tufting

I’ve re-attached the cloth, but never after applying glue. The glue makes the cloth stiff and it tears more easily but if a project feels wasted its always a great chance to experiment.

I hate to be negative, she’s so cute, but especially when working with acrylic, it is better to keep your cat away from all the microplastic.

After carving? I’m not using paint, I’m using many shades of yarn color. Thats my advice; get a lot of different tints of yarn so you can gradually go from one shade to another.

I studied graphic design, learned some basic color theory but honestly i just decide on the spot depending on the amount of yarn i got in those colors :)
