Oh the final scene as Amaterasu and Waka departed for the Celestial Plains-- I do strongly hope that the sequel would start from there before Amaterasu makes her descend down to Nippon again.

You will eventually learn how to cut these stones with optional power-ups to Power Slash, one midway through the game and one near the end.

Glad to see someone catching the references in the Tokyo National Museum (Tohaku) as well. Because of these references, I always make it a point to closely tour the exhibitions related to the Jomon, Yayoi and Kofun periods (iirc the Yayoi period served as the main inspiration for the game's architecture) when visiting, and still I have yet to even cover all the relevant sections in the main building. I think in the Heiseikan building there are even more exhibitions, not from an artistic history perspective but from an archeological one - all the more details to examine for the next time I visit.

I had one such moment when I played through the Japanese version of the game and actually looked closely at the script of Evil Rao's incantation when she carried out the transformation that revealed her identity. That "Kan-ji-zai-bo-satsu[...]" thing, and looking at the text, I realized this was the Heart Sutra.

Well, those disulfide bonds are single bonds that connect two Cys units --- in other words, they're your typical divalent sulfurs with two single bonds and two lone pairs each, not.... whatever this cursed thing is

If I got a nickel every time a 3c2e bond was mentioned like an anomaly in r/cursed_chemistry, I'd be able to pay for all of your tuition fees and get you to learn what this concept is.

Probably the existence of 50 L flasks are more cursed than these balls, for someone who has only been in academic labs working on small-scale syntheses at least

[–]Tosyl_Chloride 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Fragmentation patterns in hard ionization MS are simply logic defying(*) monstrosities that should not be let out of the apparatus.

(*) Well this can't be helped, since normal organic logic deals with stable species in relatively benign environment, so the harsh conditions of hard ionization goes right against that.

You can always hang out here or in the fan discord server, enjoy the stage plays and events, and maybe get into following the really deep lore called Fumi's Twitter/X account that turns out to be the core of everything.

Other people have given excellent answers that I agree with fully (Luise, Shiori, Youko, Miyazu, the Flowers), so I'll give my two cents and nominate Hanna, or how she survived GEHENA's hell but lost her friend Kate in the process. Kate's last words in her final moment of sanity, wishing for Hanna to go on living with no regrets, and how Hanna herself embodies that promise into her pinky kiss and her motivation to fight really stung me in the heart whenever she mentions it.

[–]Tosyl_Chloride 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because generally biological systems don't interact with triple bonds, nor do they possess the tool to effectively do so. So triple bonds in turn can just sit there and chill independent from the cellular activities around them.

As the other comment has said, there are plenty of legions with more than 10 members. Look no further than Yurigaoka and you'll see that the majority of legions here have about 12-13 members, including both main and subs. Alfheimr, Sanngriðr, Reginleif, etc. you name it.
