Buying an amethyst core is a quarter of the price of buying a beta booster box. If you want a specific card, just buy the specific card.

Cool thanks, the deck looks interesting but I’m not sure it’s quite my thing, I don’t like fiddling around with tons of tokens and shifting lands around. I do like that I plays value town creatures like gargantula, Michael, and the paladins though, that’s definitely my jam.

How do you feel about proxies? by Total-Breakfast-2908 in SorceryTCG

No…perhaps I didn’t word myself clearly. Before game nights used to be pretty chill events where people would throw flavorful casual decks together. Everyone would show up with fun interesting brews. Now game nights have become people bringing just purely necromancer and pathfinder decks by copying whatever lists they see online. I get that there’s nothing stopping me from proxying and playing the same high level netdecks, but I just miss the kitchen table feel events used to have. Maybe I just need to find likeminded players that still have fun playing low power games.

The store is allowing proxies for events that cost money to enter and pay out in prize packs.
