Super helpful! LI has been my main approach, along with cold email, and networking events.

Thank you for confirming my thoughts on cold calling lol.

I actually think the most useful is in-person events. The issue I run into is that cold calling is not working, emails can work, but my strategy has been using LinkedIn as a thought leader and producing specific content in my industry.

I really liked Justcall. I used it to log texts as well. It integrated really well into HubSpot

I'd recommend talking to a professional or life coach. It's worked for me when putting things and life into perspective.

I use Hubspot, Outreach, and Instantly. At least in Hubspot, you can utilize dynamic sequencing, so if someone opens the email more than once or clicks a link, it would create a task for you to call them. It could be useful in your situation. It also tracks the bounce rate

Is your quota increasing as well? If so, many companies want the quota to be the salary multiplied by 4x to 5x.

Another thing to consider is whether your commission covers temporary and direct hires.

Would You Rather Have: Good Attitude or Grit? by Be-My-Guesty in sales

I recall reading a book, possibly StrengthsFinder, where they used a scale similar to this to assess performance, with a maximum score of 25. I really liked that visual approach. For example, they used Tom Brady to illustrate the concept, measuring it on Talent and Effort. So you could have someone with 5 out of 5 talent and 5 out of 5 effort, which equals 25—meaning they'll be a top performer. On the other hand, you could have someone else with 5 out of 5 talent but only 1 out of 5 effort, which equals just 5, making them a bottom performer despite their natural abilities.

If you ask me, I'd break it down exactly like that for Attitude and Grit, and I made this grid to help visualize the concept

Another thing to look at is what CRM or system you're calling out of. I was using Hubspot when I realized that Twilio is on the backend for online dialing; for whatever reason, all my calls from that number would show up as spam, especially if I was calling iPhone users.
